You forgot Murice Collins and Vincent Valentine. NFL 3rd round picks. Hardly a miss
Yeah Bo didn’t miss on every recruit. But immediately after Suh, the most dominant DL aruably of all time, Bo could have parlayed that into much more. Instead he recruited dead weight

Score board.

I'm just saying the dude isn't even there yet and your talking about him landing heisman caliber qb's.

What Heisman caliber qb’s? We have two 4 star qb’s riding the pine right now and our expectations are too high because we’re talking about some 3 and 4 star dual threats? Maybe you should go back to the Iowa board where you belong because you sure as hell don’t know what you’re talking about over here..

Op mentions deshaun Watson and Marcus Mariotta. Reading is hard.

There are two types of dual threat QBs IMO...

Tommie Frazier Jr, Scott Frost, Eric Crouch, Taylor Martinez and Tommy Armstrong Jr were all runners that threw the ball.

I would like for us to try the version of a dual threat QB that is a passer that can also run. I think this version opens up the most for us to have balance. Also keeps everyone involved on offense. Power running with the RBs. Air attack with WR and TE. Then keep the defense guessing in 3rd down situations with run pass option. A lot like the offense we see PSU running now.

Can the Duggan kid from CB do this? (Not sure if I spelled that right)

Funny ...3national championships and 2 heismans and this guy wants a different QB

Yeah and those types of guys aren't out of reach either with a favorable system. Mariota was a 3 star recruit out of high school, who exactly did he have offers from? Watson is a different story because guys like that don't show up a lot but in general it's not an unreasonable expectation to recruit good QB's at Nebraska.

I just don't understand all the people dismissing POB as not being able to run Frosts O. He ran for many more yards (like 550 his senior year) than Gebbia his senior year. Granted Gebbia looked more mobile in the Spring Game, but he knew he was going to redshirt. POB was fighting Lee for the starting job, so had to do his best to be a pro style statue in the pocket to compete because that is what Langsdorf wanted. Look at this video at 18 seconds, 1:29 and 2:35https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YW_Fq2OXJY8

Jace Ruder from Norton, KS. Lives just a few miles south of the Nebraska border.

4-star dual-threat committed to UNC. December grad. Frost still has time to offer and get him to visit early Dec.

I know the old staff liked him, but a better fit in Frost O.

I would bet a former Nebraska hs dual threat qb returns with Frost. Name is Vedral. Just a thought.
