I wouldn’t be shocked if it was announced today or tomorrow. I also wouldn’t be surprised if others on the staff weren’t out too.

Non-news. "Soon" like within this week? I think almost everyone agrees he will be fired after the Iowa game. Not to rag on you newAD, as I know you're just passing this "news" along.

I’d be shocked now if it didn’t occur in the next 24-36 hours.

tOSU fired Earl Bruce the week of the Michigan game and let him coach the final game... tOSU beat Mich that day in fury over his firing. Maybe this is the second coming of this event????

Interesting tidbit on Ken Niumatolo and a desire for the triple option

Would have been a good idea 13 years ago. Would be a terrible idea now. We have great young WRs like Spielman and QBs like Gebbia and O'Brien. They would all leave and we don't have the patience for a 4-5 year transition back to an option offense.

A UCF or Penn State type of offense would be ideal IMO.

Exactly. Our QB’s and WR’s at some of our best players. Transition to the flex one would be a brutal transition, we have had too many of these drastic transitions over the years.

My feelings exactly. Our patience is already thin. It will be virtually non-existent for any coach not named Frost and especially so for non-splash guys like Niumatalolo or Monken.

Moos has waited this long without firing Riley. He isn't going to do it now. Especially if he has Frost lined up. Friday is soon enough

If Moos doesn't have Frost lined up aftet publicly raving about his resume, and delayed firing of Riley causing us to lose out on Kelly, Moos should be fired.

I would fire DIACODICK about 7 am this morning and get somebody that knows how to coach D for the final straw of the final regime of Coach Riley. maybe then we could tackle and be put in positions to succeed instead of fail.

I thought it was interesting that the triple option/flexbone offense was mentioned specifically. I don't know whether that article is true or not, but if it is, it tells me that our new AD is looking for the right fit. I don't see how that is a bad thing at all.
