I would have said no way....but, I wouldn’t mind waking up tomorrow and seeing he received his walking papers. What a colossal mistake this hire was.
I really think he's gone. This team has completely quit. Can't even line up for a punt. There's too much season left to endure, these kids need a different leader NOW.
If it's bad I'd say it's his last, but I don't think that's what they want rimington to do

I disagree. Bounds and Green need to do it. Let the next AD come in and have a fresh start. Let's get everyone pulling on the same end of the rope.
At this point, he's giving them a reason to fire him. And I like continuity. Problem is, I also like competing.
What's the new guy going to do? Tell them they better line up on time or they're off the team? Can't wait to see what that Nebraska football team looks like with even more walk-ons playing.
Seen more than a few Husker teams not even compete against superior opponents in the last few years. Showing no sign of adequate preparation and no effort
If there were any justice in this world, Bo Pelini would have to be the one suffering through this with his senior recruiting class.
His recruiting was worse every year just because he thought he'd get another job and leave UNL hanging.
Everybody could see it, but no one wants to remember and now it's coming to fruition.
That's the best answer. I'm not happy with the current state at all, but Pelini saved face getting out of here before his recruiting took effect.
He low balled out classes and then took borderline recruits because they were easy. I at least give Riley recruiting cred. I think Pelini was a better coach in general though. Doesn't matter though when you hate recruiting.
It is not a stretch to say that Mike Riley taking the Nebraska job has ruined two programs. Oregon State and Nebraska are both much, much, worse off because of his decision.
Just stop it. He won a title in Canada 20 years ago. That will help out in the second half.

I kind of miss Solich, I really miss Osborne for not allowing a real candidate when we had the name.
I don’t have any idea, but who was the big name coaches or up and comers that would be available in 1997? I wonder what that alternate universe would look like. Who we would have gotten.
