For a split second it looked like some bad intentions crossed his mind.

I was wondering that myself. Seemed like Cumbest got hit twice and TA got plinked at least once.
Think they would intentionally put some bruises on our players after they knew the game was out of hand?

I don't think it was intentional, but last night bordered on getting out of control. Vandy should be embarrassed at how they handled themselves. Freshmen pitchers with no control hitting multiple batters. There's a reason for the 10-run rule.

I guess they thought they could do whatever because they started a 17 year old.

Has anyone heard how he is? That kind of hit can keep you out of games.

Yea, my concern as well. Even if he is not out it might affect his swing. I'm sure if the Vandy pitcher put Cumbest out for this final game, Corbin will figure out some way to reward him. Just seems Corbin is the type to try and get any advantage including throwing at people. Remember, he was the one who came out and told umps they could not change the NC State double to a fair ball after calling it foul although the rule book clearly states you can. Umps go with whatever Corbin says I guess.

Should mule back off the plate a bit. Seems like he is constantly getting jammed.

I disagree. the Mule sees ******** outside call after outside call against him. I would crowd the plate and turn that outside pitch into a middle pitch. If the pitcher comes in on you, step in front if it.
By the way, Rocker can come in on you.

I agree. Take away that outside pitch, and if they want to give us free baserunners, so be it.

That sweeper that finishes low and outside seems to be his kryptonite. He can't seem to lay off those.
