It's nuts. There will be hundreds of folks trying to scalp tickets this evening. Gonna get crazy.
Those guys who camped out need to send out their Venmo. I bet they could easily get enough in donations to buy 2 tickets.

In their defense, the stadium ticket office knew they had either 0 tickets for sale or a limited few.
Someone should have gone outside and made an announcement that we (stadium tk office) has X number of tickets for sale and when they are gone, they are gone. No need to stand in line if you are way back in the line.
Communication is crucial to having an operation run smoothly and it would not have been difficult to communicate that message.

For those there that don’t find tickets they’ll find Blatts or Old Mattress Factory or the lobby of the Hilton Hotel to watch the game with hundreds of other State fans!
For those with tickets, I would suggest getting in line at 4:30 this afternoon.
I know it’s tempting to stay upstairs at Blatts and drink where the party’s at and not stand in that long, hot line but it will be a party atmosphere inside TDAmeritrade as well.

As sure as the sun comes up each day, the cheapest tickets will be available outside the stadium right before gametime. There will be plenty available. No need to freak out if you don’t have tickets before then. Same rule that applies for all sporting events. Just have cash ready and you’ll be fine.
One of the things I regretted most in 2013 was spending about 3 hours on Monday in the line for outfield tickets, then seeing folks get them for the same price I did about 30 minutes before first pitch. Would have much rather posted up somewhere downtown and just enjoyed the atmosphere instead of cooking in a parking lot for what felt like half the day.

Are they doing paper ticketing at all? I know you can still get screwed by fake paper tickets, but it is much easier with electronic tickets. I’m not a huge fan of paying a scalper for tickets, he texts them to me, and then does it to 100 other people as well
I didn’t see any paper tickets being sold outside the stadium.

I'm in omaha now. Headed downtown shortly but i've got a 7 month old in tow. Thinking of buying parking pass on stubhub for $40. Anyone know what time the stadium lots opens? Would be nice to park at the stadium now and then walk everywhere we need to go

I really hope you're right. There are no general availability / standing room only tickets this year due to COVID-19.
There's always a chance they look at capacity numbers in the 2nd inning and allow more in after that.
If its not a paper ticket then I’d insist on paying with Venmo, PayPal, or CashApp. Anyone that is legit should have at least one of those three options (all 3 are far more practical than cash, anyways) and that’s a lot more secure to close the loop on fraud than a cash transaction as far as being able to get your money back and bust the guy. You should have all those yourself if your plan is to buy from a third party outside the stadium.
The other option is to just wait for them to drop on StubHub before gametime, and just get them that way.

I bought mine through Ticketmaster. It has a moving blue line that goes back and forth over the barcode. Says clearly on there that screenshots not accepted.
Take an UBER downtown to the stadium and walk. Cheaper than a $40.00 pass and they’ll drop you right at stadium. From even 15 min out of town, UBERS are only like $15.00-20.00
Everything is within walking distance from there.
If you really need a ride, Omaha PediCabs - (bikes) will take you anywhere you want to go.
I was just told by some fans already down there that ubers are now scarce. They brought in about 1000 extra uber drivers, but the surge is causing issues. I ubered from the airport Saturday and i paid $60 and then couldn't find another one to the game.
This thread has me really wondering if I should fly up tomorrow or Wednesday. Life has me in a situation where I cant spend a ton of time away right now, so I've only asked to see the championship game. Meaning, if we win tonight, I'd likely try to make the trip up tomorrow. But this thread has certainly scared me on ticket scarcity.
From what I recall, pretty much everyone had a seat that wanted one in 2013. Don’t remember huge swaths of folks being forced to stand in either game. Not crowded at all on the concourses except for around the concession stands and restrooms.
This year may be different price wise, it will probably cost a bit more than $30 per game at a minimum to get in due to a variety of factors. But the general rule for any tough ticket sporting event always applies. The cheapest the tickets will ever be is right before gametime. And they are always available.

If you're just concerned with parking - don't pay $40 for that. You can get plenty of parking for $10 - $20, within ~15 minute walk. But if you want to be in the official lots I guess that's your best option. Here's the map. I normally park in the garage on capital ($10) or between that 15th - 17th st area ($20).

I’ve seen some surge pricing but I paid $10 plus $3 tip after the game Saturday

Maybe only $15-$20 BEFORE the game but you will get majorly screwed after the game if its like any other event when everyone leaves at the same time. Tried that at a concert in downtown Nashville, ride there was $12, ride after (of which there were plenty) was $70
Yes. But if you deal with one, make sure you get official tickets transferred to you from Ticketmaster. It’s a mobile ticket that is read from your phone - no barcode to scan. If they’re selling anything else, it won’t work.
