Skinner has to make a better effort on that pop foul. Come on man. And then we walk the batter and plunk the next guy.

geez.

Walk, hit batter. Free passes...uggggggh!

You would think this pitching staff would learn by now that when you walk guys and hit guys, it comes back to haunt you. Foxhall, for all his greatness, can't seem to get the point across.

If we lose a game in our regional, I’m not sure we have the arms at this point to pitch through the losers bracket.

Yes. He's supposedly in there for his defense in a big outfield but half-assed it on that play and it cost us.

Welp. Here we go again. Another blowout and we will be hitting the road for the supers assuming we even make it.

I strained every muscle in my legs just watching that.

Logan Tanner can't strike out in that situation. Rally killer.

Wow….what a pathetic inning. Walk, HBP, 2 hits, and a passed ball, and we get a single run. Gotta put the damn ball in play with runners in scoring position.

Other teams seem to always make us pay for 2 walks and a hit batter in an inning. We on the other hand hit the usual chopper on the infield or strikeout. 1 freaking run in an inning where they walked 2, gave up two hits, and hit a batter. Statistically I'm not sure how that's even possible.

To add insult to injury, this was in an inning where we had the top of the lineup there, and of course, they did what they do. But unfortunately we couldn't overcome the ******, ****** effort by Skinner (who was lucky he wasn't doubled up or picked off) and the two terrible at bats by Tanner and James. I would have rather seen a Kellum Clark, Brad Cumbest, or even Scotty Dubrule up in those spots. This lineup construction is a momentum killer.

Just realized Hatcher entered the game. Hancock was holding his arm after that HBP, praying that is just precautionary.

Yeah I've seen enough of the Skinner experiment. If you aren't bringing anything to the plate, at least play hard in the field and act like you know what you're doing as a baserunner.

I'm REALLY tired of our snakebit offense right now. Smashes and bouncers right to a glove. This is a game of streaks and I am 17ing sick of it already.

If we weren’t going into SEC Tourney to win it, why didn’t we start all backups like McDonald, Cumbest and Skinner in the outfield?

Our starting pitching has to be better than this. Why is MacLeod so damn inconsistent? He'll mow down guys, then walk, HBP, HR, HR. Then he'll look like he's back on track, and oppo HR. He's got to be better.

This game seems determined to 17 us with injuries, might not be a terrible idea at this point.

It makes no sense to bring Bednar in unless you're conceding the game and just getting him some work.

Come on Logan Tanner. That's twice this season you've allowed an easy run on a double steal with 2 outs.

You can't make that throw and allow the run to score.

Just trying to get him work because there is no tomorrow. God I hope we figure something out during our practices between now and next week. Everything that could go wrong has for us this week and it's not that we aren't trying. I have no idea where that voodoo doll is but someone needs to find and burn that 17er,

Everything about yesterday and today just seems like a warm up scrimmage approach, and an opportunity for our fans to practice anxiety management.

Yep, this is it. Bring him in. Hell, Lemonis as much as said Sims was going to pitch while we were down 3.

I think that's exactly what's happening. It is a meaningless tournament, but damn, this is the most embarrassing SEC tournament I can remember.

It's not meaningless. Brandon **** the bed yesterday and Mac **** the bed today. If either of them had pitched even moderately well, you would have seen a different approach to these games. State came to Hoover to win.
