Really wish I could find the autographed picture he gave me 30+ years ago that said "To ***** lickin' ____"...

Went there with some friends back in '84 - '85. The place was packed. We were standing pretty close to the stage. Mack had just finished singing a regular song behind his chicken wire, and he asked my friend's girlfriend what her name was. She was kind of naive and told him (big mistake) !! Then he started singing, _____ got a big fat hairy pu$$y. Needless to say, she got pissed and left.

I transferred to State January '82 about the first or second week of the year. No other students on campus yet, just us mid year transfers up for Orientation. Couple of us went to Shakey's Pizza which was on Academy Rd and had some beers. They shut down at midnight or before and a couple guys in there told us about Mac's and we agreed to follow.

We got there (I couldn't believe there was going to be a bar open out there in the middle of nowhere at 1:00 a.m. as we drove there) Mac said "you ain't never been here have you?" I said no sir and he said "well, your first beer here is always free, what'll you have?" I ordered a PBR which turned out to be a 16oz tall one. Mac looked at the guy next to me (I had no idea who he was) and said that'll be $3 (or whatever amount) for his PBR. Guy said I didn't order that. Mac says "well the first beer here is always free and somebody has to pay for it and tonight's your night. How the hell do you expect me to make a living giving out here giving out free beers all the time?" The guy paid for it........ I offered later to pay him back but he said no, we became friends while I was here and still run into each other maybe once a year at ballgames and such. Mac was definitely a classic one of a kind

Mid-Late 80s I was a frequent visitor to the supper club.

I managed the truck stop in Durant in the 90s. He came by selling his cassette tapes. He had just recorded one making fun of Bill Clinton. Funny songs. We talked **** for about 45 minutes and he went on his way. A more unique fella I have never met. One of a kind.

One night I asked him where he got those huge panties he had hanging up on the back of the stage. He said "My wife gave them to me after she outgrew them."

Me and a couple of friends were driving around one Tuesday afternoon and we happened to drive by there and saw a couple of cars so we stopped. it was just Mack, his nephew and his nephew's co-worker. They were in the main bar deep frying bull nuts. We stayed out there well after dark drinking beer, shooting the **** and eating fried nuts. Just the 6 of us. That was more enjoyable than the many late night trips I made out there.
