It’s damn near comical at this point how bad NMP is doing. Seriously the worst hire ever. We talk a lot of **** about Joe, and rightfully so, but NMP inherited a legit national title contending team and in her first season turned it into a sub .500 team.

Maybe not but from a talent standpoint it was one if the most talented teams we’ve ever had, at least on paper, which I understand does lot always pan out. Maybe they were all overrated but they played better as freshman and sophomores than they are now.

It just cannot be overstated what a tremendously horrid job NMP has done with this team. A job so bad that she does not deserve another year to try and fix it because she will just 17 it up even more.

It would be one thing if we were only a Top 15-20 team with this group. Even that could be considered underachieving to a certain extent. But we are 8-7 overall and 9th in the SEC. Multiple games behind an LSU team that’s 8-10 overall. Very much at risk of not even making the NCAA Tournament if the trend continues. With a team that went 27-6 last year and returned most of its core group.

This women’s basketball season makes Moorhead’s 2018 football season look respectable by comparison. Not going to call Nikki another Moorhead anymore, because she may actually end up being worse.

Here's one explanation: the players don't want to play for the coach, and they have quit on her.

The players just show up for the games and go through the motions. The players aren't really invested in winning games.

Something has gone wrong with this team.

COVID I get, but what "system"? I've heard Rosebowl say that too. But it's basketball, it's 5 on 5 with a bouncing ball. It's not like football where you have to learn a bunch of plays based on timing, or is it? I freely admit my ignorance here.

Surely Cohen has met with the women's basketball coach to talk with her about what's happening with our team, right?

If he's not, then he's not doing his job properly.

If he is, then I'd love to be a fly on the wall and hear what is said.

On the few occasions I've listed to the women's basketball coach speak at press conferences, she is 100% coach-speak.
