Said it happened in front of the AT&T building. Makes sense. Some poor person finally had enough of their BS.
It's crazy that some of you can make light of this. The officials are calling this intentional, but you are scared of going out to eat because of Covid, while attacks on our soil are joke-worthy...
For now, no one has been reported dead, just a few non-critical injuries. Therefore I’d say this attack was not a success for the terrorists. I’ll laugh at the benign results that were obviously meant to be meaningful on a holiday of great religious significance.

Such a sad place that we are in as American’s. A likely terrorist attack happens and right starts blaming left and left starts blaming right. I truly do hate where dialogue and politics are in our country. Rather than worrying if some foreign terrorist has done something on American soil, the left is praying this is done crazy right wing group and the right is praying it’s antifa

Why make a bomb, put it an an RV, drive it downtown, and warn everybody there’s a bomb and to evacuate? They went through multiple steps insuring nobody would get killed.

I have not read anything on this but is it possible the evacuation warning was meant to draw people outside closer to the bomb?
Never mind just read that the warning played for 20 minutes and gave a countdown. Looks like whoever did it did not intend to kill as many as possible.

Let's see. A mysterious 911 call to send police and first responders to a particular place. And 30 mins later it blows up. Now which side of the argument would want to do damage to police and first responders? I can assure you it wasn't some TN hillbilly or bar owner.
Was the warning to evacuate part of the RV and device? Or was that something the city of Nashville did after discovering the RV?

It seems at this point they wanted absolutely zero casualties/fatalities.

Someone(people) did it and did it for a reason. I just can’t fathom what the endgame is.

Anyone know if Nashville was having their normal NYE celebrations? I just wonder if it’s somehow related to that - a test run or something to try and shut all that down. Totally strange but scary considering how large the explosion appears to have been and how close it was to a normally very crowded area.
Thats exactly what it was. A courageous eco warrior attempting to force the people to do the right thing and stay indoors socially distancing and thereby actually saving innocent lives that would have been lost due to the careless celebratory gatherings of the New Years Eve. There are some things that don't make sense. The police reported to media they were alerted to shots fired in the area and while responding to that unrelated incident, they just happened to notice a suspicious RV and so they decided to dispatch the bomb squad? I'm not sure I'm buying that. I just don't believe that an RV parked on the curb would alert the authorities to actually dispatch a bomb squad unless that recording was already playing. Or It absolutely makes more sense that they were "tipped off" as someone else on here reported. The question is, why?
