Going to our first and only game of the season this Saturday and wasn’t sure what to expect parking-wise. Looking at hailstate.com, the parking guide is a combination of confusing and maddening.

Is public parking on campus really $40? I just cannot justify paying that much. Also, the parking map mentions that there are only two public lots open this year. Is that correct? That seems insane, especially considering students are now gone. We’ve parked in a variety of places on various sides of campus, just need to know what my options are. I normally wouldn’t mind parking and walking from downtown but with the weather not looking great for Saturday I don’t particularly want to do that. Any tips would be appreciated.

I can't help you with the weather but there were people parked up and down E. Lee Blvd, behind Campus Bookmart and in Church of Christ parking lot and I didn't see anybody charging in any of those areas this past Saturday

I assume they made it $40 because season ticket holders paid almost $200 for a parking pass back in the spring. So they had to make it where the 5 individual games would be as expensive as what we paid.

Can't really offer any advice - but the bulldog club lots I've seen are only about half full at best. I would assume you can pay and park in those for $40 but not sure. May want to call and check. Otherwise, see if you can find someone with a parking pass. Probably a lot of people not going to this game.

It's $43 with fees, yes, there are only two public lots. They go on sale Friday Morning @ 8am, first come, first serve. Never had a problem getting one for a guy in our group. Buy it online is the only option.
