I'd rather have players and coaches who want to talk trash and actually play a game rather than to use COVID as an excuse to try and manipulate a winning season for optics in recruiting.

Lose with dignity lol is that the rebel battle cry now?

Emerson was running his mouth, for sure-but those bastards from the barn were worse. I would have shaken Emerson’s hand if he had kicked Williams in the nuts when he and that other Auburn c’sucker rolled up on him and got in his face after the TD. It was hard to miss the other player come up behind Emerson there. The ref didn’t miss it, though-he got in there quickly and stopped it. Auburn came out talking early in the game. Emerson is still young and he will learn. Trash talking has always been a part of the game, but it has gotten worse.

Thanks! But since this board is quite full of State fans, I consider myself lucky to be in the company of so many lovable losers who seem to enjoy our rightful place just north of Vanderbilt in the SEC standings and adore players who don’t know when to shut their damn mouths and let their play do the talking. But, alas, it is the culture of the “modern” college football player that today’s fan adores I guess.
