This is some next level bailing out. They also bailed out asses out in the Revolutionary War.
We should be closing a lot more than we have. Starting with restaurants and bars. We will eventually. Every day we wait will cost hundreds if not thousands of lives.
Dont think there was much wine and roses on the Maginot line, blame the Belgians.
I have come a long ways in changing my thoughts on this. I respect the decisions that were made. Admit it’s not all media induced. Dramatic changes to wife, 2 adult children in schools and my job. But I do think some of y’all over reaction is still ridiculous. Makes me wonder What you have stockpiled to sell
This is the issue. We don’t have the healthcare system to handle this. That’s our number one and main concern/issue. So, shutting down now and being extra cautious is the right move. Otherwise, there is a huge risk for our hospitals to because overwhelmed and loose thousands of lives
lol um no it won’t. The death toll is at 60... total. You’re overreacting.

I understand this and do disagree. But how long does that need to last? If we shut down for 2 or 3 weeks and slow the spread, is that enough? What happens if it starts spreading again after a 3 week shutdown. Do we shutdown again?
I’m not being a smart *** in those questions. It’s a legit ask. I think most reasonable people could get on board with a short term shut down but there has to be an end game. Which to me feels like is missing.
So you are say that you now understand why people were in your opinion, “over reacting”, and see that it’s a big deal, but still...whatever you ******** are still overreacting..
That’s what you took from my post? Are you implying there are other health care systems that can "handle" this?
I don’t think we’ll get an answer until months or years from now. Either we’ll find out that we are overreacting to an undefined degree or that we severely under reacted to a devastating degree. I think there’s really only one option to choose.I understand this and do disagree. But how long does that need to last? If we shut down for 2 or 3 weeks and slow the spread, is that enough?
