Well when you look at it, this guy is on his 3rd head coach in 4 years. Should players really be held hostage through all that chaos when he has no control? They made two **** hires in a row at Houston, and he wants to play for a winner for his final season. I don’t blame him one bit.
I like it, but only if TS comes back a beast and we get to redshirt GS.

That doesn't matter. No way he's here 5 years.
How many coaches break their contract in the middle of the season? I've got no problem with a kid transferring before the season starts. But letting a starting QB play 4 games and then quit the team is ********.
How quickly we forget Dak was here four years.
I agree with your premise, but GS looks like a guy who is only going to be on campus for 3 years under any circumstances. He has the NFL measurables now and will improve enough to look very attractive in the 2022 draft as a JR or redshirt sophomore. Might as well let him play as much as possible.
For the 5 who downvoted, what would your opinion have been if Dak had quit the team 4 games into the 2015 season so he could transfer to Alabama? Or even if Fitzgerald had done it 4 games into last season?

You tell him good luck.Of course technically Dak couldn’t. That’s not the point. What if Kylin Hill announces tomorrow that he’s redshirting & transferring to Texas A&M since we didn’t start 4-0?
