I could see a hotel footprint without disturbing the Junction or stadium too much (we'd lose some brick areas), but to get parking....maybe demo Lloyd-Ricks-Watson building and have a skyway?
We're just some dudes* spitballing on a message board. There are people with the university to work out the finer points. It's an awesome idea, but with a campus already riddled with parking issues, how good of an idea is it to plan the end result without considering the secondary and tertiary effects?

If this is the football version of the left field lofts, then this is a great idea. So great that we need to give our “idea” guy a raise. We are setting the bar in things that are awesome. And we will be copied. We haven’t typically been copied in the past.

We can close in the stadium without “adding” seats. The seats we gain by closing in the south end to tie in to the Lofts at Davis Wade can be offset by cutting walkway steps up the middle of sections B, C, D, E, and F to shorten those long bleachers. There are 44 seats in a row. Very uncomfortable to have people crawling across to get out for concessions or rest room trips. And while they are at it, add backrest.
1. Parking garage below.. maybe 200 cars
2. 1,500 club seats inside the stadium. People who sit here have access to the hotel lobby with food/restrooms, pre-game andpost game music and party but your tickets do not access the elevators up to hotel rooms.
3. Hotel rooms.. perhaps 200. If you book a room during a game weekend you must purchase 8 tickets to the game. Each room has a 2-tier balcony with 8 seats outside. Glass doors inside the room are only unlocked on game days.
4. An elevated deck on the south side overlooking the Junction. Cafe tables, chairs and umbrellas for dining. This is the place where coaches and the team can address the crowds.
5. A new program created at MSU similar to the shark's Hospitality management.
6. Recruits and their family stay there and their balcony doors are unlocked so they get to view the stadium all weekend.
7. The Inn at Davis Wade is created... it's where you want to stay for graduation, Super Bulldog weekend, orientation, basketball, baseball (if your Left Field Loft balcony is otherwise.. occupied).

So I heard that there’s rumblings of the university tearing down the M-Club building and putting a hotel there. The hotel will then be used to promote a hospitality program similar to Auburn. Discuss amongst yourselves.
And, the visitor’s locker room may have to be relocated, so that could create some logistical issues.
What if they don’t add seating?
No go for you?
Sure you lose the end zone cabanas But this idea of private hotel rooms would surely allow for some end zone cannabis.
