I don't know anyone upset over TS and the Chiefs. I see memes accusing people of being upset. My only issue is I don't like the Chiefs. I'm worn out with seeing Mahomes on every State.Farm commercial but Kelce is now on every other commercial for everything and I do think that is as much a result of being Swift's boyfriend as it is about his ability on the field. If the NFL and it's advertisers were sincere at all with.their talk about diversity and "end racism", why is it always a "safe" Mahomes, Kelce, or Baker Mayfield. Why can't Lamar Jackson be a spokesperson? They won't even give him a payday loan commercial or a cameo on Nissan Heisman house.

In the era of NIL that’s more reason to play to get paid in college! Thats what I don’t get about NIL on either side.

Guys ranked in top5 aren’t worried about some NIL deal. They are worried about a top draft pick contract ($20-$30mm) and the second nba contract ($200-$250mm).
More tape of poor play puts the first contract in jeopardy. Better to say “I’m hurt” and shut it down.

Considering he's been a fringe lotto pick that is now playing to barely stay in the 1st round, I'm not quite sure what the intention of him not playing would actually serve. Words already out he only goes left, can't jump off his right foot and is a so-so shooter. That won't change if, in fact, he is sitting to protect his draft stock.

-I’ve been thinking about this for a while as I’m sure a lot of us have and they touched on it on KSR or PTI today I don’t recall, but I am worried the college game is going to fall apart as we knew it if the portal/NIL continues.
I honestly thought the portal was just for Covid and then it would end once that cycled through but doesn’t sound like it after all.
Coaches are going to take lesser NFL jobs as they less and less want to spend their life recruiting and re-recruiting.
That’s going to get super old. You could just see how badly Coen wanted TF out of college. He would’ve taken ANY NFL OC job. The Bears job was almost guaranteed to just be a one year gig for crying out loud.
The BC coach took the OC Packers job. That’ll be more common and stripping talent from the coaching ranks of college.

We don’t get a 5-10 point Rupp advantage right now which is weird because I’ve never felt that at any time in my life.
Check that. The last home game for Gillispie, senior night with Georgia I felt that way. I think it was like our 4th or 6th loss in over 100 years of senior nights or whatever it is .
-Groceries: I can’t imagine trying to feed a family of 4 or more healthy meals 2-4x a day. It’s absolutely absurd what protein, veggies and fruit cost these days.
Considering turning my cold tub back into a freezer and buying bulk like crazy. Plus, there’s a cold tub at the BJJ gym as well as a sauna whenever I can use those again.
-Besides sports and a couple Bravo shows (yeah I know I’m trash, but below deck and southern charm are fun) there is zero on tv for me right now, probably for the better.

Ive been dreaming of Frank Vogel for years. We could double his current deal easy or trade Cal straight up. It fits so well 50 years old, personality, recruiting NBA athletes, connection to the past.. even though its completely stupid to think he would jump to cbb in this era.

I woke up this morning well rested with a clear mind. Our program has a Saturday off for the first time since Christmas (and that was the first one since early November). Got a great slate of games today. The weather’s nice. The grill and smoker are clean. Got a nice offer on some real estate me and cat chaser have been sitting on.
