Most underrated UK football player by key position group in my lifetime

QB: Hartline, if looking at a singular season
RB: Boom Williams
WR: Chris Matthews or Juice Johnson

-Man I catch grief for Post Malone meanwhile you all debate between Lit and effing Blink 182, Jesus Christ 🤦‍♂️.

-As much as I didn’t want to come back, it is nice being at your “home” and getting back to a routine, although it’ll be nice to have my routine in Florida by the end of the month…hopefully.

-Did more in the 2 visits to SP than I have in a year with friends in KY. Sad.

Pools, boats, baseball games, good stuff and all within a mile of my abode.

-Drank 39 (random guess) Beach Blonde ales before, during and after the baseball game. Most I’ve had in 3+ months combined but we had fun for sure.

Food was tip top obviously as well.

-The two cheaper gyms I visited this time that are just a bike ride away were Amp’d which was “fine” but not ideal and then the PF SP which was the shittiest PF I’ve ever been to and that’s saying something. One story, in a shopping plaza, dark and awful.

Looks like I’ll just pony up and drive to Barbell Barbell.

Speaking of driving, not having to drive daily is so nice and a much better way to live to me at least.

-Mom already has plane tickets to visit in Sept/Oct.

-Speaking of coasters/theme parks, gal pal there wants to hit Busch Gardens and all that for a few days in the fall. Yes ma’am, happy to oblige.

-Dad’s other son had Fed Court zoom today but I couldn’t figure out how to get in the video link so we’ll just have to ask out lawdog family friends what happened, hopefully anal rape——>being forced to fill some pipe-hitting mfers commissary is in the future for him, although I think he’ll actually like the first part of that and can be guilt free in prison for it instead of hiding it like he does now, allegedly.

I remember him being a solid player on that D while others got most of the credit.

Don’t remember any singular impact moments though.
He had six interceptions from the LB position, one was returned for a TD. He had 80 tackles, 5.5 for loss. That was the year we beat both Auburn and Georgia on the road. He was a monster in both games, above solid all year long. My memory is better than yours.

Well it kind of does when the conversation today was slightly geared toward Charter Schools. Which are an upgraded option from public school but not exactly private.

When the democrats are against that option but send their kids to private school, it’s about the same as not wanting a border but living behind secured walls.

- Have nothing against Posty. Love that guy.

- Hit Kings Island for the first time in 25 years and couldn’t believe how small it was. Seemed like a city when I was a kid. Looking forward to introducing my daughter to things like KI. Maybe she’ll eventually get engaged there.

- Somehow Campbell County, whose dysfunction my County buddies described simply by saying “Walk the halls, man” is now a top 10-15 or so school in the state.

I am a progressive not against charter schools in theory or when done right. If they are fully funded for the poor and public options aren’t totally drained, they can work. And there are examples of success stories. Obama was for versions of like this and reading about some of them changed my mind on charter schools

BUT the Kentucky versions set up have been nothing like that. They have basically been grants that only would have actually paid for upper middle class or rich kids to go and actually would have eliminated options for lower middle class or poor kids. And in some rural areas, the effect could have been devastating

If charter advocates that are serious want to create a bill (and there are some that do) that really helps students from all walks of life get better opportunities in cities, I am a progressive who can get behind it. But most of the advocates so far in Kentucky have been bad faith actors who don’t want to do it and/or want religious schools more than upper level charters

I agree on the Ky versions. Said it earlier that is exactly why Beshear used his veto and why even though I’m republican I agree with his veto.

To be honest though, Charter does function right when it’s mostly privately funded(can be tuition based or sponsorships) and only needs a small portion of funding from govt. That small portion allows for applications and approvals to insure the opportunities aren’t wasted on blind by the numbers the school has to take in a specific % of lessor privileged kids.

Again, Louisville is the only district this will even matter IMHO, and I’d love to know who to talk to in order to help but I don’t even have a clue who is trying to advocate for it.

I cannot believe they selected that routing software. A simple LinkedIn and Google search tells me that a) it was all theoretical b) the founders are flakes c) it didn’t work at the one city that used it and d) the company had barely any employees. A disaster!

Considering that Catholic schools aren’t publicly funded, this is irrelevant to the topic.

Secondly, as it pertains to Jefferson County, I would not immediately be against that as a potential solution. Something extreme needs to happen here and every option should be on the table.

This is what is currently happening in places like Arkansas and Iowa, where many of these charters are taking advantage of the vouchers by raising their tuition significantly to control who gets in.

This company isn't sophisticated enough to do that. It's run by a professor, a flake former COO of Philly Schools (for 1 year), a 32 year old civil engineer, and an optimization engine developer. Basically 0 real world or implementation experience. Their staff consists of 5 students.

-free? I pay/have paid a lot in property and other taxes that fund schools...if I tally it up over the last 25 or so years, I could've sent mine and a number of others to a really nice private school.

^but i didn't. I'm a proponent of public education. I was educated publicly k-12.

-if I we're your shoes, I'd do the same thing you are doing. Hell...if I had younger kids *now* I'd do private where I live.

-I was just busting balls.
