I just didn't understand why you would ask a question clarifying what I said when your question wasn't even remotely close to my statement.
Because there are a lot of people acting like Wheeler is a mistreated choir boy. That’s not the case. He’s nothing special, Triple C was playing him way too much and he hurt the team. If that’s your idea of a UK caliber player then you keep blowing smoke.

You either have an agenda or your reading comprehension skills are on the lower end of poor. I believe it's the first sprinkled in with a little of the latter because again this has nothing to do whatsoever with either of the two comments of mine you responded to.

I do believe his ankle was too bad. Now, the ankle has improved to the level that he can , hopefully, fill in a few minutes to relieve Wallace. Sorry, you cant believe it but isnt that what is happening?

I am guessing you were one of the ones that regularly posted about Wheeler being done, he is selfish, he doesnt support the team and he is looking mad in photos. You have been proven wrong so now comes the great whines that always accompany dumbass predictions.
I had to do a double take when you said you believed his ankle was too bad. He sprained his ankle and I’m sure it hurt. But he had more than enough time to heal enough to to give Wallace a few minutes to catch his breath. And I’m not one of your so called people that jumped all over him so that’s a lie. I DID say a number of times that he could have just tried to help Cason a minute here and a minute there which is true and I won’t retract what I said.

It’s funny you said that because I was about to post the same thing. You just want to argue. You’re either young or dumb. I know I have the ‘dumb’ part correct. Hopefully you’re a kid and just don’t know when you make a stupid comment.

You don't have anything correct.

Can tell how many here do not know basketball. Our record with and without Wheeler is not the same since we lost every big game he was in the lineup. With him out of the lineup we won big games against quality opponents on their home floor.

CJ sucks for the most part right now. Injuries, lack of athleticism, no explosiveness, sloth-footedness, whatever the case may be, but, when he is in the floor the lane is opened up on the offensive side. This is not the case when Wheeler is playing. Teams sag off and clog the lane which in turn enables them to have more bodies in position to fight Oscar for rebounds.

Our offense is a grind with Wheeler in.

Finally ANY player on our team provides more resistance defensively in the half court than Wheeler does. Nothing he can do to make himself taller.
Tell us you never played basketball without saying it lol.

All this Wheeler hate. We're gonna need him to play if we want to advance. Wallace needs some breathers and I'd rather have Reeves hunting for his shot more than running the show.

Can any of you imagine how you would respond to a group of "fans" as nasty as ours? The kid can't win.

A group of fans as nasty as ours? I spend about the same amount of time as I do here on other teams message board OTS. We are pretty good fans compared to a lot of others.

And here we go again. Just a few days ago, the conscensus on this board was that Wheeler had given up on the team and was faking procedures and injuries, intentionally skipping senior day, and had quit. Where is the thread reacting to the news he is likely to play? Crickets...

For my part, I have no idea how much he will play, whether or not he will play well, or anything else. But here is what I know: watching Wallace limping around like an old man out there at the end of games because he's trying to play 40 minutes, and then watching Thiero trying to play point guard against pressure, I welcome Wheeler back for a few minutes here and there to help the aforementioned players and this team.

And some folks here are just plain awful. I hope Wheeler plays, the OP destroys his massive TV and can't watch another game in this tournament, and we're all left thanking Wheeler for his contributions to a big win when all is said and done. If there is any justice in the world, all the haters will wind up eating crow. I'm sure some would welcome it if it means a deep run in the tournament. Others wouldn't give Wheeler any credit for all the tea in China. 🙄
You returning to this thread now that it’s clear has has quit on the team?

Probably should be slow to speak…

And come eat your crow.
