-I think it's pretty obvious why UK doesn't want to have him as a spokesperson. Probably the same reason most fans can't stand the guy even though he was at one time the most popular figure within the fanbase. He's a selfish *******. He's never missed a chance to let the world know how Kentuckians are racist and how he's very woke. He's just not a smart person.

-I like Chad's lineup but(AT THIS POINT) would be alright with Livingston starting and Reeves being the spark off the bench. That could easily change if Livingston struggles against real comp.

Minute distribution in order:

Oscar
Wheeler
Toppin
Wallace
Reeves
Livingston
Fredrick
Collins
Ware

-How fun is watching 2nd and 3rd year progressions? Ware, Collins and Toppin all showing real signs of growth.

-Picked up a bottle of Zycan's new bourbon venture, I like the 106 proof. That's the sweet spot. Hopefully it's good.

-Lol. Stoops came out firing. I love that guy. Just some real zingers. Think that hasn't been eating at him? Those puppies had been locked and loaded for years.

-Mitch really dropped the ball. I get why Cal is pissed, poor timing on the request, but he's not wrong. Craft center is 15 years old and I can't think of another major investment, aside from Cal's salary, in the program since. Meanwhile, football got 1/4 billion in the stadium(much needed) and are about to get another major investment with practice facility. Baseball built a new stadium. Track is amazing. I think the second apology was better worded, "I'm an idiot." There ya go.

Just give Cal the "OK", and like he said, he'll get it paid for. What the hell is the hold up? Aside from his awful PR blunders, Mitch is just way too conservative, and I actually like the guy. Alcohol, NIL, this mess. Time for him to retire.

-Soups are fine. They're just not an entre. I will die on this hill.

I have a feeling rudd is already in full blown Tweed Jacket With Elbow Patches season. A nice 82-grade wool chapeau, and a comfortable pair of brogan shoes over his finely pressed pantaloons.

We are MONTHS away from soup season, Rudd.... get serious.

-noted, i shoulda said soup season is nigh...instead of upon us. October is 6 weeks away gang.

-Wednesday is UK move in day for Viv. Seeing as we live a 7 minute drive to the dorm...my plan is to avoid the shitshow and send her with essential items, backfilling with drops during lighter traffic over the next week or so. Receiving a bit of pushback from her and mom, I think it's brilliant. Whatevs.

-spoon and interpol at the brady center in cincy in a few weeks. I've said it ad nauseum...but find an act you like and go there. It's an amazing venue.

-labor day is a commie holiday.

Mitch should’ve dove on the grenade and could have left it as a “no comment” and a “family business” moment…Alas, he fed reporters more red meat on the issue.
I don’t think “no comment” would have been acceptable, but he probably didn’t need to bring a jug of gasoline to the bonfire.

Randoms:

- Back to reality and digging out of my inbox. It’s not too bad.

- I am tan AF right now. Look like Anth.

- The good part of a family vacation- actually feel refreshed and well-rested. Probably caught a buzz every night but nothing over the top. No hangovers. Tiki hut Rumdums, a well-timed Strawberry Daiquiri, but mostly Sands Lights which marcus welby aqua.

- I’ve never seen my daughter as happy as when she was drifting in the sea in her floaties. Pure joy. She had so much fun. Why we do this.

- Yeah flying with a toddler is treacherous and any attempt at a meal longer than 30 minutes with two toddlers on hand is a joke but just a great trip overall.

- If you have seen my social media pics, that’s the beach my wife grew up on. It’s absurd. Now, it’s a hoity toity club where the likes of Shania Twain and Shakira lived, so it’s not at all crowded. My FIL used to be president of the company who developed it so it’s funny when workers ask for his member number, and he answers “A-001.” Unbelievable place. I don’t have many connections in life but I can’t imagine a better beach.

- Our friends want us to come back next year and just go out to their place in Abaco where they have their own little bluff. My wife grew up going out there. Apparently it’s remote island heaven.

- Could it be we’re really only weeks away from a ranked Kentucky team kicking off it’s season?

- Bahamian basketball royalty was in the house. Saw Ayton at the Wednesday night game and our 20-year-old friend went to a big party hosted by Buddy Hield at Bahamar.

- Willie Geist sure doesn’t seem or look like a Willie.

- Took the boat out for some deep sea fishing. My first time fishing on the ocean. Didn’t get out far because it was so choppy but reeled in a mahi mahi. That was pretty cool. Our host is a bigtime fisherman- used to run charters in his younger days and now fishes everywhere from Montana to the Amazon.

- Had the weirdest dreams last week led by one about getting into a tiff with some Vietnamese teenager named Vlad who terrorized me throughout my neighborhood by stalking me and throwing bowling balls at me. wtf

- I mean, aren’t we just printing $$$ from the SEC right now?

- I have never watched a “True South” but seems I’d love it. Obviously, I’m a Wright Thompson honk.

- Anth- I need to hear more about the Field of Dreams game. tia

- God I love Antonio Reeves. Not only is he a sniper but he does little things on offer that show he knows a high basketball IQ. Same can be said for Fredrick.

- This team is going to be really really good.

Monday shitdohs:

- Been saying each year I won't get my hopes up preseason but my hopes are WAY UP right now. Not sure how they couldn't be. We have shooters, height, size, handling, old, young - got everything you need to cut down nets.

- Wife is out in Italy with her mom. Probably have a couple decent pics and a bunch of whining about her mom being the dumb American. Shouldn't have obliged on getting her the international data plan.

- Terrible start to the weekend. Right after feeding the animals, getting situated with a fresh bowl and new beer. Look over at one of the ******* cats and he's in the middle of running the house shitting all over the place - stairs, walls, carpet, rugs. It was a crime scene of ****.

I have to catch him first so run down the stairs after him dodging land mines. He evades and runs back up stairs. This was a remarkable back and forth considering we both managed to avoid a lot of the mess but if you saw it, you would think it would be impossible.

Finally catch him and as I'm putting him into the shower so I can contain this, he unloads all over my shirt and shorts.

So now I'm covered in ****, cat is covered in **** and I have a lot to clean.

Spend the next 45 mins working my way back upstairs bringing everything with me as I go, including the wet vac. Accidentally knock the wet vac down the stairs. I can literally see the **** water exploding out of it as I bounced down the stairs and smacks into a closest door at the bottom. All liquid contents are now on the stairs and walls.

Spend another 45 mins cleaning that up and finally finish up with everything upstairs.

Now I have to clean up and I'll be GD'd if that little shitweasel isn't getting a bath, too. As I'm spraying him down, he damn near scales the shower half wall and caught a towel and almost pulled himself out. This is remarkable considering how there is nothing for him to grab but his sheer will to GTFO of there was almost enough to pull it off. And, he ripped a claw out in the process but thankfully wasn't bad enough to bleed everywhere.

- Got to a cool 70 this morning for the pup walk this AM. Don't care it only lasted an hour or so. Felt amazing.

- Got stuck out with the Z yesterday. Guy at AutoZone tried to jump it with a portable battery then drops it on my fender. Tiny dent but he reacted like he had just wrecked it and ran inside to get his manager's card and ask me to call him to tell him about it. I didn't and wasn't that worried about it. But man, that dude is wound up tight for his job.

- Fun finish at the St Jude. Those two played 18 the first playoff hole like two pros then played it again like two hackers. Really wanted Will to try that shot with his ball wedged between the rock wall and grass. Nope. Just goes back to 92 yards and wins his first pro tourney from the drop zone.

- Team Stoops on the stupid slap-fight. Really don't want to hear a GD thing from Call this entire season that isn't him talking about how hard he's working to right the ship from last year's debacle. Stoops has a lot of leash right now.

- Back to looking for another job.

catlanta, I’m only laughing because I understand the animal **** clean up. That sounds more catastrophic than anything I’ve ever encountered, luckily. Did you pinpoint what caused it?

Somewhere in the middle of cleaning this up, I found a sticker label, part of a hair tie and some other plastic. He has eaten every sticker off every piece of furniture in this house. He is infatuated with eating plastic wrappers.

I can laugh about it now so all good.

Finebaum going off on Cal his morning. "John Calipari is really no longer the best option for the University of Kentucky."

👀
Finebaum is a moron. I really have no clue how that guy has navigated listening to Bama ****-kickers ranting about football in broken english into a national persona.

*Friday was the next to last street party in the hood. The weather was awesome and it was a blast. Got home around 3:30 in the morning.

Woke up Saturday to a group text asking if we were all alive. Barely. Around 1, I got up and rode around a bit on the cart to clear my head. That was when a friend of mine called asking if I wanted to ride with him to Lexington to help his son move in at UK. Sure. Pretty cool spot they have. It isn't a college street at all. If you are going away from Kroger field (left side) on Nicholasville rd it's the 1st street on the left past the hospital. Jealous.

Got back and went to Cunningham's for a few beers and a fish sandwich. Neither of us could muster the strength to continue that night. Home and in bed by 9:30.

*Sunday: Pretty chill morning. Later, I met someone at Taco Luchador for luhch then had a few brews at Saints. Good time.

After that, walked 5 miles and called it a night. Little extry pep in the step today.

*Team Stoops. Cal can just STFU. Talk to me after December.

*Cautiously optimistic about the BB team. I've been burned too many times as of late. On the "Wait and see" bus.

*I like Morgan Wallen. Kill me. 'Better than my Hometown' is something I can get down with.
