- Wonder what Waffle House is like in the daytime? Are they even open then?

- Is it really even a worthwhile event/festival if food trucks AREN'T there? I'll probably just stay home from the Plastic Tips on the Ends of Shoelaces Festival. Wait, what? Food trucks will be there?!? Why didn't someone say so? See you there!

-
Fur trees.

- I think Khol's has replaced Jos A Bank as the retail clothing chain that just gives stuff away. They even have their own currency. Just walk through the door and get 25 bucks worth of Khol's Cash! We'll give you a few Izod pullovers as well for the effort. Is Jos A Bank even still around? Haven't seen one of their come-take-this-stuff-out-of-our-store-pretty-please commercials in a long time.

- I remember our frat "splurging" on premium beer kegs during Finals Week parties. If a party had a Bud Light keg instead of Natty Light or Busch Light, it was like having a food truck.

Top 5 Forgotten Beers of the 90s:
1. Icehouse
2. Red Dog
3. Amberbock
4. Bud Dry
5. Miller Genuine Draft

- Got my *** whipped by a Marine at a Finals party. I was done for the semester and had too much brown water. I wasn't aggressive at all. It's just that his girlfriend started flirting with me or something. I don't really remember much, but my buddies knew we needed to go. Ol' boy followed us to the parking lot and got a couple of nice punches and kicks in. The hangover hurt much worse though.

- Do you say data or DAYtuh? Me too.

- I made a remark to my classes the other day that guys look like Pee Wee Herman all dressed up to go to the prom. The short pants, the tight, ill-fitting jacket, etc. One guy started laughing about 5 minutes later and pulled up a picture for me to look at. There was a side by side of him, wearing a grey suit with a red bow tie and Pee Wee wearing the exact same thing. Same suit cut and exact same shade of grey.

- Meckaleckahi Meckahineyho!

I have a strict NO food truck policy. I'd rather F'n starve to death.

Oh stand in an endless line with the rest of the pigs until you're ready to stare down at me from 2' above my head? And by then you'll be visibly frustrated with the amount of people willingly paying you cash for your awful food I'll eat off an insufficient paper plate while standing even longer in the middle of a traffic island? And you keep the truck parked in some vacant lot, prone to vermin and unsanitary conditions, when not using it? And Kroger plastic water bottles are only a $1.50 each? Oh but you ran out of napkins?!

So fun!

Not to mention you can get the same fare in a carnival midway at any local county fair. So exclusive!

Missed court dates that result in bench warrants may well happen all the time, but it doesn’t make it any less stupid of the defendant. That goes triple for a high profile athlete who is trying to maximize his earning potential for the next level. That stunt has cost him money, no two ways about it.
Of course it’s stupid, I just don’t personally give a ****. I just want him playing on Saturdays this fall. Don’t give a F what he chooses to do otherwise.

I had a bench warrant for about 10 years and only found out because I searched my name in CourtNet. Got a speeding ticket at 16 that got “taken care of” by the Circuit Clerk who was friends with my parents. Turns out taken care of meant it was reduced to an improper equipment fine that I never showed up to pay for.

-Last I saw 80 was being restrained from a room full of red meat by sturdy plexiglass.

-Made it 2 years but got covid earlier this week. Day 6 but still testing positive. Been an interesting experience: coughing, congestion, no taste/smell, a lot of fatigue. I mean I look like complete **** - complexion is off, massive bags and dark circles under my eyes, haven't really exercised. Ready to be done with this mess.

-If I had to live in Lexington I would "overpay" to be in Chevy Chase. No brainer. Left graduation day, though. Another no brainer.

-Was feeding some plants the other night and was barehanding granulated manure before I realized what I was doing. Like errantly reading a chief post.

-UofL fan had convinced themselves that Satterdays was THE MAN again until Jeff Brohm's latest comments. I really appreciated him doing that and sending those idiots over the edge again.

-Food is really bizarre without your senses. I would really hate to miss summer cuisine if this **** persists.

-Righteous Gemstones is okay. Entertaining enough, I guess. Not enough Danny McBride if I could make one complaint.

-Lou City against Nashville in the US Open Sweet 16 either the 24th or 25th at LFS. Will be dope.

-Red Stripe is my preferred summer lager.
by day 5 of the covid you should have started sipping moonshine in the evenings. not Liquor barn shine either.

43, had it 2 weeks ago. no shots here. mild fever for 2 days. fatigue for a couple of days, mild congestion and cold symptoms after that. was sipping and on the mower enjoying the sun by day 5. wife had it at the same time. first 2 of hers was a little worse otherwise the same.

kid, 13, had the delta last yr. mild symptoms and never passed it to us.

no fatasses here, eat right, take some vitamins, exercise, drink what I want. no shots in our house. no issues at all. to each their own.

Absolutely the last person in gyero I would have expected to be an outlaw.

Five years ago or so I went to renew my license and found out my license had been suspended. I had gotten a speeding ticket by camera in Florida. They suspended my license for not paying. I always thought I could ignore that dumb ****. That’s not always the case.

43 and bulletproof? Hate to break it to ya but you haven’t even gotten to the good **** yet. You can brag about it if you’re not visiting doctors after your 60. Until then count your blessings for now but the odds are against you and the house always wins in the end.

Got pulled over because of a taillight and told my license had been revoked. Showed the officer I just had them renewed and he said probably just an error but got a ticket anyway.
Go to court and found out they sent me a notice to a previous address even though I hadn’t done anything wrong for the notice. Judge informed me it was probably a computer error and didn’t charge me for the ticket. Told me I was the first innocent person he’d seen and charged me $127.50 court cost. After a few choice words I decided 127.50 was better than 30 days for contempt.

I have never been arrested, handcuffed, nor even been close to worrying about the po po. There was that one time in the old purple lot by the tree a cop stopped me asked me at 7am why I was setting up a full bar for a tailgate and was cool with an egg and cheese sandwich.

nah, we are all lucky to still be here.

I just didn't inject myself with a gene manipulation therapy then brag about how I was still sick for 10 days but thank goodness I took those 3 or 4 or 5 shots that were supposed to protect me or it could have been worse.

If I put a foreign substance in my body I want a buzz not myocarditis and blood clots.

Wanna not be afraid of a respiratory virus, don't be old, have ****** genes or treat your body like a garbage dump. pretty much nothing else you can do. or trust your government to save you I guess.

I feel like Russia is vastly overestimating how much Americans care if Brittney Griner is returned home. She's not exactly Marcus Luttrell missing in action against the Taliban.

Her protesting the national anthem is a take that aged like milk when a couple of years later she needs the State Department to avoid serving a life sentence in ******** Russia.

Because of GYERO, I felt an inordinate amount of smug satisfaction that Jen Palumbo’s name at Malones is immediately next to the bathrooms.

Doesn’t surprise me at all. Weirdos like that are always the ones who can’t keep their hands to themselves. Just no clue how to behave in such a unique situation.

You've not lived until you got rear ended on the way to work, had the cops come, check your license, and tell you there is an open warrant for something that happened while you were in college 20+ years prior. Spent 14 hours in the Jessamine Co jail before being released to my sobbing wife, went to Owensboro court to answer for the open warrant only to be pulled to the side by a clerk. She told me it was a glitch when the state switched over to a new computer system that triggered the warrant that happens all the time.
