Am I wrong in assuming that if, and it's big if, the UNCAA does its job correctly, Kans-*** will be force to drop a bunch of wins off its resume and we become All Time Winningest once more?

Yes if there is any justice they need to lose wins for ineligible players.

What's funny about this "all time wins" thing is that CBS never stopped saying it the moment KU went ahead of us by one game. Now suddenly it's a label to be mentioned every time KU is on TV, whereas we held it for quite a while and at no point did any announcer throw in "the all time winningest program!".

In fact, that one game KU went ahead of us in this tournament, the CBS announcers didn't just say it once, they said it 4 times as the credits for their game ran!

If they were penalized it would for the time period of the infractions no impact to this year's title.

If Cow did his job, you fans wouldn’t need to worry about Kansas taking over all time wins.

But he hasn’t done his job and they overtook Kentucky. Now you’re begging the ncaa to vacate their wins instead of looking into the mirror and think how it happened

This x100. I counted, and it actually took 19 posts before someone noticed this. We are resorting to hoping the NCAA will vacate wins in order to reclaim our title as winningest program of all time.

Again, so many don’t even know how desensitized they’ve become under Cal as to the expectations we should have for the University of Kentucky basketball program.

Famous former Miami (OH) head coach, the late Charlie Coles, once said in a press-conference after losing on a last second shot to Kentucky when asked how did it get away from you responded by saying “they started playing. You know, they’re the Big Blue”.

That’s the kind of reverence this program used to have. All we had to do was “start playing” and chances are we would win. Unrealistic or not, that’s what Kentucky basketball has long been known for, being the best at Basketball. Charlie Coles knew it. And now we hope the NCAA will vacate wins to help us get back on top.
