-royal blue sportcoat is fine: tone on tone windowpane would be dope...no to the suit.
Oscar wore the royal blue on royal blue nicely.
Don't do this to yourself.

#holsopple
Never forget the time Holsopple was my neighbor at my townhouse when I moved back to Lex (which I only knew because of GYERO talking about him and me seeing his name on the PVA for my street). I needed someone to lift my new heavy TV up onto the bookshelf (note: I didn’t hang it over the fireplace). Anth lived in Louisville still so he wasn’t there. I walked down to Holsopple’s, knocked on his door and asked him for his help. In hindsight, that was incredibly random and he probably thought I was a stalker.

Tubby's last two seasons
22-13
22-12
Combined 44-25 with two tournament wins

Cal's last two seasons
9-16
26-8
Combined 35-24, no tournament wins
I'd rather be a 2 seed and one of the best teams in the country for a good portion of the season after going 9-16 the previous season as opposed to being an 8 seed for two straight seasons and an absolute zero threat to make a FF, with no hope for change in the future.

Your stats may be similar but the stories are completely different. We could easily be one of the best teams in the country again next year. There was zero hope for that in Tubby's last few years. We were insignificant.

I watched Wrestlemania last night and had more fun with that than I have watching the last five seasons of Kentucky basketball. I'm not sure if that says more about the program or me, or Vince McMahon, but I'm not sure I'm ever going to get the wind back in my sails with the basketball team. I've had far more fun with the football program too, and as an old...I just don't have it in me to invest that deeply anymore. I missed more than a handful of games this season and that makes me sad, but the apathy is really difficult to overcome with fat Cal tethered to the wheel like Odysseus at the mast and Mitch's topbutton at the prow.

just lol at the ridiculous Lakers rumor having the exact opposite effect intended. Good job, great effort, Cal's agent.

Last few? LOL … it cracks me up when idiots say stuff like that.

* Jason Aldean, who whines constantly about political nonsense, sells 90% of his music catalog for $100 million. (😢)
Good for him.
Saw some redneck threw a chair off his rooftop bar on Broadway Saturday and cracked a women’s head open so his insurance and legal fees may be edging up. I was worried for him, but should be fine now.

Figure we're in for a down 2 - 3 years post-Cal. This just need more time can extend that at least 1 more if not 2 years. We're currently comparing to where Tubby was before he quit.

Deck is stacked against Cal on this. If we're this miserable right now and actually gets worse, it might become a life safety issue for him. OTOH, we should see more of each other at future AA meetings.

Do you just spout gibberish? WTF are you even talking about? You'd rather have a nine win season and a tournament loss to a 15 seed than be a respectable but not awesome team?

Do you have traumatic brain injury? Are you ok?

Two years before he left, Tubby had a #2 seeded team that lost an E8 OT thriller to the 15th ranked team in the country. Cal hasn’t won a single tourney game in three years and just got knocked out by a #15 seed. I’m not making comparisons yet, but damn, it’s getting close.

We were not respectable. No one feared those teams. Do you have brain trouble?

Winning 9 f***ing games and losing to a 15 seed in the first round is so far from not respectable it is sickening. Tubby's last two years sucked but to even compare them to the fiasco that we have just witnessed is amazing.

We are a bum *** basketball program right now and our coach is nothing but a fat trained seal who just repeats catch phrases.

We won 9 games a year ago. 9. We just lost to Saint Peters. We're f***ing dogshit right now and acting any differently is patently offensive.

  • St Paul and Broken Bones at Beacon tomorrow, DVR game
They are big down here obviously bc they are local, but the lead singer showed up to the daycare in our neighborhood today and played a full acoustic show of childrens songs, because they have "Music Mondays" every week and someone simply just asked him if he'd like to come play. Pics of toddlers singing and dancing around to him are pretty cool

Also did you get the V90? I had one delivered here and drove it- loved it, but it was ultimately not much bigger than the car we already had so we ended up with an XC90 instead. Kept the 12 yr old prius bc you just cant part with a ride that cherry.

You're a f'n idiot and a weak minded *****. You're always the first to jump overboard. You're the worst kind of UK fan. You make the rest of us look bad with your idiocy and ho-like tendencies.

If people really believe that the program currently is on par with where Tubby had driven it at the end of his time than you either have a short memory or you are acting like an overly dramatic fool.

Those last Tubby teams had no shot at a title. None! We'd lose in the NCAA tournament and it didn't register a ripple of interest across the CBB landscape because NOBODY saw us as a threat.

Our biggest issue currently is Cal being too stubborn and arrogant in how he manages his talent. There is at least some hope that he can or will adjust in comparison to a coach who started forcing UK to go into battle completely unarmed.

A few more thoughts.

-Happy for Oscar sweeping the awards. Well deserved.

-XC90s are indeed the preferred family vehicle. Absolutely no get up an go but great layout.

-Actual UK blue suit would be sharp. That new Barnhart neon **** would be a bit too much.

-Moon Knight off to an intriguing start.

-Winning Time also a good watch so far. Lots of gratuitous nudity too!! Which is great.

-Ideally, KU wins (bleh), then gets HAMMERED by NCAA next week.

-I'll have 3 screens on Masters coverage starting Thursday morning. Fantastic. Pimento from Mousetrap on tap.

You wanna get your *** whooped old man, don't ya?
Old man? Aren’t you older than me?

Anyway, you want a piece of me? You bring the meat, I’ll bring the heat. I once went 20 consecutive years without a loss in HORSE. The streak finally ended against one of my Lexington homies — Darnell Burton. I could make it rain from 20 or so. He made 35-footers look like layups. I owned him inside the arc. Once he realized I didn’t have the muscle to go deep, it was over. I was ok losing to a UC career 1500-point scorer. Every streak has to end. Gherig, Ripken, etc. I could easily beat your cheese ***.

St Paul and Broken Bones show was excellent. Dudes voice 🥺. Admittedly, I’m no wonk on their full catalogue. But now I’m all in. I guess that’s the point of touring. Soul/Funk masters with a tight band. Guy is a former preacher, so you know (or at least hope) he’s a decent human being and good around kids.

ERRBODY and their wives know about the XC90. It’s the lines of the VolvoV90cc that make it a sleeper… it looks like a lowered more aggressive version. Better roadfeel being lower, but as Rudd stated - you won’t mistake it for an Audi S Avant, Panamera or a MB-AMG E63 comparatively. Just need to deal with bumps and snow. Plus I don’t have 130k for a wagon.

no I didn’t get (yet)… the delivery program that Volvo offers is:
  • you custom build your car
  • When car is complete, they fly two people to factory plant in Stockholm.
  • They pay for one night of hotel
  • They deliver your car
  • You drive around and tour Scandinavia/Northern Europe on your dime. (Copenhagen is on my bucket list)
  • Return to Stockholm for shipping car home
  • 8% typical savings
BTW: Glad you and yours have probably the coolest daycare of all time. Babies FTW.

Winning less games than the football team should be automatic exit for our basketball coach. Whether that be John or Jesus

Rearranging deck chairs unless it is Sharpe and Oscar returning (which I can't see happening).

We need at least two blue chippers. Period. If we aren't going to be more sophisticated with our approach to basketball then I am resigned to the fact that Cal just needs to get back to having the type of talent where we just overwhelm the opponent with athleticism/physicality. Wallace and Livingston are nice, they aren't that...neither are Hopkins, Collins, Wheeler, Fredrick, Toppin.

When we started our late season swoon it sure would have been nice to see if Sharpe could have been a sparkplug. You think that guy that took this job 12 years ago lets a kid sit on his bench while TyTy limps around sacrificing his draft stock? Same guy that called TJones a "selfish MFer" on national TV. I don't think so.
