Put me down for not wanting Cal to leave *this* year, as in right now. Would be an absolutely awful time for that to happen, imo. Doesn't mean I'm excited about him or not 95% over his ****, b/c I absolutely am.

The Mass exodus will be brutal when it happens, but if next year goes bad...I'll be ready to deal with it then - and I expect it to happen organically if it does. And then I can finally go make firm plans for the Masters.

-The NCAAT is so weird. I say this all the time, but that's why the "ceiling" talk is always so dumb. UNC was inching towards bubble a month ago, and this isn't even one of the Top 5 Kansas teams of the last 8 years.

Yet, one of them will be Champion.

The average GYERO regular was watched way more UK basketball than the powers that be. We may not have the insider access coaches or Palumbos may have, but we sure as hell can see what’s going on in games, over seasons, and know how a good college basketball team should look and play. It’s not rocket science. It’s basketball.

And the fans were right about Tubby, G and now Cal. Mitch has jammed us up. It’s time for a change of scenery for both Cal and UK.
I know I stand alone but I disagree. I feel like we're very close to figuring this out. Cal went 9-16 and totally changed things up with roster and staff. He comes back with a top 10 offense for most of the season and a 2 seed in the tourney. The St. Pete loss was horrific and inexcusable, but it doesn't discount the turnaround from the year before.
I feel he will make the necessary changes again this off season.

K, Boeheim, Lute Olsen were all HoF coaches who won national titles after previously losing as a 2 seed to a 15 seed. And as we all know, Virginia won the title just one year after losing as a 1 to a 16 seed.

I don't blame anyone for losing faith or wanting to move on. I just can't join them. I do wish Cal would shut up until next season, but I truly feel like he's close to finding the right mix between returning players, transfers and incoming recruits. We shall see.

And remember, Vern's Ark has plenty of space if you feel the same.

DJ just had an update that leads you to believe it’s UK all day over UL/Payne.

Braswell will immediately join Mark Stoops’ Kentucky staff.

An Auburn graduate who initiated her career in recruiting at her alma mater, Braswell has risen swiftly through the collegiate personnel ranks after a pair of seasons as the assistant director of on campus recruiting at Arkansas helped provide the springboard to Fisher’s Aggies’ program.

The Indiana Hoosiers are like the town from Footloose. Mike Woodson is like Kevin Bacon. He has them dancing again.

🤣🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮

You're off the hook, Shagari Safari is now the 2nd-most embarrassing thing you've ever done.
IU hadn't made the tourney in over 5 years. Woodson makes it in year 1. IU had lost to Purdue 9 straight times. Woodson beats them the first time he faces them. I called for his hire when they hired Archie. They should've listened then.

Man, life really fcuks you up sometimes.

Try to save the life of a friends wife and he repays you by sneaking in on your recent ex.

Man, the Portland Ave is trying to come out, but I'm trying to keep it in.
Portland Ave came out after the St. Pete loss. These fools have no idea.

It's ironic and funny.

I'm the oldest person in GYERO and I have to ask questions that, ordinarily would be directed to people that are older than yourself.

How do I dress like an adult?

What are the capital gains tax implications of selling real estate, etc. LOL

That's what you MIGHT get from smoking pot for most of your life. (Don't regret a thing.) Skate or die.

That turtleneck he wore in his last game was gentlemanly. Say what you want, but Tubby was an *elite* dresser.
This is not mentioned enough. Tubby was sharp. I feel like he taught an entire generation of Kentuckians how to dress. He even pulled off a blue shirt with a white collar somehow.

I wish some website just had a Tubby collection I could order as an ensemble.

There's too much up in the air right now to even speculate about next year's team. I won't believe any elite players stick around in college over NIL money until it actually happens. Oscar and Wheeler both leaving is completely understandable and a legitimate concern at this point. Lose those guys and Sharpe (lol), and Cal is rebuilding a team from scratch. Again.

Bring the 1st two back and add some transfers, and we're a top title contender.

I think Cal truly believes he’s always just a recruiting class away. And frankly he may be right. But I’m looking at next year’s class and Duke looks like the team. I don’t see the year after that getting any better either.

Duke loses everyone and has a new coach who may be in over his head.

* I know it's fun to hate everyone and hope they all leave, but man, Wheeler potentially coming back isn't getting nearly enough chatter/scuttlebooty. He's led the SEC in assists two years in a row. This isn't a case like Hagans coming back and us hoping he improves. That's a HUGE win for the team if he returns.

* Big week for Cancel Culture.

Jason Aldean, who whines constantly about political nonsense, sells 90% of his music catalog for $100 million. (😢)
Louis CK, who admitted to being a sexual predator, wins a Grammy. (🥺)

I feel sorry for those guys. Tough world out there.

* Heading back to New Orleans on Wednesday, this time for good. Still continuing to rent out house out at an inflated price, and just going to stay in a friend's mother-in-law suite/house close by our place. Win/win.

* Oscar is just from another planet. Look at all these pics and read all these stories about him collecting NPOY hardware. Talk about a dapper dresser. Grinning ear to ear. Clean cut. Incredibly polished/intelligent/mature/humble. Amazing with media. Always talks about faith and family. Think Tyler Herro, except the opposite.

Unreal.

* They say the clothes make the man, but there's only so much you can do with Cal's increasingly flabby physique. He's a few meals and a green/yellow/orange/purple, 17-button suit away from looking like Bruce Bruce on game days. Just sweating and looking uncomfortable.

* What's the way-too-early over/under on Tiger's two-day score?

So a guy who we all loathe and had a substance abuse issue that forced him to steal from an Apple Store is doing a show on CNN where he drinks alcohol while interviewing guests. K.

Hot Take: Forcing people to watch you masturbate (i.e. “the Gooey Louie) is just weird. What’s the draw there?

I didn't take you for a kink shamer.

Louis clearly enjoys being cucked, he constantly degrades himself in his show. However, there's a weird power struggle at the heart of this too.

I thought I read, maybe on here, that these massive buyouts of musician catalogs are predicted to be huge losses for the purchaser. I'm no financial ball, but purchasing the Stevie Nicks catalog, just for Landslide, seems a little optimistic. Like in the old days, we'd buy a record for that one song that was good on it and regret the purchase almost immediately.

Anth, congrats on the nice fish and glad you liked the TFO. Good equipment makes a huge difference.

Clown, you’re far from the oldest poster in here. I passed 59 years ago.

Morels are up and it’s picking season. Hard to believe so many foodies in here don’t enjoy such a delicacy. Especially when they can be dried and utilized in so many things.

For once I’m thankful for getting to take my treatment tonight. Don’t have to watch two of the biggest cheaters in basketball history playing for (puke emoji) another Helms.
