I was still so put out by our loss that I didn't realize until 2 nights ago ---> (parts of?) this tournament are scripted. Spoiler alert: Duke wins it.

I want protection against UNC, ultimately. I’m rooting for Arky but I’m fine with a Duke W. UNC has a cakewalk tomorrow. I’d love Duke to beat UNC, who’s lucky as F this post season, and then lose to Villanova. I’m ok with Duke winning or losing tonight. Looks like a W and now it’s time to take UNC down next weekend. UNC doesn’t deserve number 7. I’d rather have Duke at 6, easily, plus 6 with Duke ties UNC and pisses them off. Kinda sucks with Calipari at the helm we have to year after year go thru these scenarios. Never would have imagined any of this **** when he was hired.

On a lighter note, I agree with cawood. UCLA gaining on us is always worst-case, with UNC a close second. If the tradeoff of K retiring is a final title that ties them with UNC, I can handle that. Duke ain't catching us under Jon Scheyer, or whoever comes after him.

If I watch another second of this ******** tournament, it will be ruinous for my mental well-being. Whatever worst-case scenario nightmare you could’ve imagined after the brackets came out has become reality. If this was a Tecmo Bowl game, the reset button would’ve been hit a loooong time ago. It’s a shame that when the nuclear apocalypse happens here in a couple of months, Duke will be the reigning champs.

Did you watch the whole game? The tempo Arkansas plays with was slowed with early calls. Also those same early calls hurt their aggressive style defense.
Not saying the don’t foul a lot, but the calls made were very touchy. Jaylin Williams missed the last 5 minutes of the 1st have do to a pretty lame call.
