2011 doesn’t seem like that long ago but holy cow it is. My life was so different. I was living in a townhome off Frankfort Ave. No kids. My only responsibility was my dog. The Lass and I were on a 1 year break and I ended up dating someone else for a bit whom I don’t think I’d recognize now she’s had so much work done.

I mean.. What the touch did I do with myself when I got home from work? I can hardly keep it together the few times a year the Lass and lil lassies head out of town getting a night to myself here and there. I couldn’t imagine doing whatever I wanted 7 days a week outside of work.

This is how my day is going. Below is an actual email I had to send out this morning.

Team,

During your start up meetings, please explain (once again) the proper way to use the restrooms!

1. When using the restroom, only use toilet paper. Paper towels should ONLY be used to dry their hands.
2. Do not fill toilets with toilet paper before trying to flush. Multiple flushes are acceptable, if not preferred
3. All used toilet paper is to be put in the toilet and NOT on the floor

Failure to follow these simple rules will lead to immediate corrective actions up/to including termination.

This is being done by Cubans that haven't been in the country very long. Apparently, due to most of them not being used to flushing toilets, they place their **** paper on the floor.

I’m proud of KPMG for ending its relationship with Mickelson for saying that he’s willing to overlook their human rights violations to make more money. As we were setting up Saturday morning at Cherokee there was debate around filming the whole event.

We decided against.

We were dumb.

The hours and hours of relitigation we could have had all these years would have been gold.

Went 1st, 2nd and top 5 in 3 skill events.

We should have gone with a modern scoring system where you get 10,8,6,4 and 2 points. Anything below 5th is nada.

- Pull ups nee...Chin ups were a source of contention also. Push ups were decided correctly. Not so much on the chin ups.

Doc Boat did real military pull ups and had somewhere in the teens. He should have been the winner of that event imo.

I had 40 legit pushups. I went right before 73. I remember this vividly. I only did about 7 chin ups though. Not my strength.

Think the good doctor took the pulls and there were a handful over 30, full extentison, including wcc who we didn’t penalize for a “boost” to the pull-up bar.

Still pissed our horseshoe pit was washed away in a flood the year before. That coupled with an old fashioned pig roast would make for worthy **** talking charity event.

Vividly remember Bonzo having a terrible push-up performance, completely due to his commitment to utilizing perfect form. He spent more time peackocking and stopping to stare at his muscles than he did actually working, and finished mid pack as a result.

Not to quibble, but I think this season is the beginning of the third act -- which is where things are leading to a beautiful conclusion (hopefully about ten years and two or three titles from now).

Thought about this while trying to sleep. I think this is correct. Acts I and II fit nicely into sections of 6 seasons each.

Act I - 2009-2015:
Meteoric Rise / Coronation / Stumble at the Doorstep of Immortality

Act II - 2015-2021:
Struggle to Maintain the Same Level of Greatness / Treading Water / Unprecedented Collapse and Rock Bottom.

Act III - 2021 -??:
Rebirth / Rising from the Ashes to an Entirely New Landscape / ???

However long Act III lasts, I think it's going to end really, really well.
