I mean Wisconsin could invoke a reaction like that out of the best of us.

I assume the timeout mentioned was an unnecessary one by them with the game in hand?

If there were ever a season to shorten, it’s the NBA.

stars are worn out by the playoffs and can’t play. June playoffs should start in early April and end in mid-May.
Um, NBA playoffs start the second week of April. But I agree 100% the NBA could be cut back too!

“It wasn’t a full court press, it was 5 pressure man to man” may be the line of the year. What a delusional *****.

Didn’t something similar nearly happen with Howard last year?

Finally got to go and look at in game red *** from 1st half yesterday.
Ha!. Love how Kentucky brings out everyone's inner Doyle Hargraves.

Would love for someone in HK's family to record and post in game video of the Clown. Imagine not unlike "is that a GD Harrison?" guy from 2014.

Enough with the Wheeler coming off the bench nonsense. With that being said, Kellan bringing the ball up on occasion and initiating the offense sounds good to me.

Toppin, scary how good he can be. Plus, he's 6'9!

Brookes Jr, dude is important to this team.

Mintz will be beloved by BBN forever....

One more tidbit, Grady needs to clean up the handles if he starts initiating the offense more. I think he will. If Grady is within 40 feet of the basket, defender better understand he is taking a huge gamble if said defender goes for the steal.

-just booked a trip to Santa fe and Taos, never been. Recs appreciated.
It'd be a little bit of a drive from Taos, but Monument Valley is pretty amazing. You even have little gems along the way like Mexican Hat rock and Goosenecks S.P. That's a less crowed poor man's version of Horseshoe Bend without the very real possibility of falling to your death.

the proper thing to do as a coach who believes an opposing coach is being petty towards the end of the game- is to stay silent, remember that it happened, and then you take care of it on the court the next meeting.

Then you burn that motherf*ckers house to the ground and ruin the lives of every friend and family member he has.

- Oldest son signed up for tackle football in the fall. Flag football (I.e. “spring practice”) starting in a few weeks. This was one of the greatest accomplishments of my life. My son and I had to lobby his old lady so goddamned hard to get this through. But she finally relented. Huge deal.

- During the 3rd (third) basketball game today that I attended, my first grader provided some comic relief:

hey dad: say “addicted” after whatever I say.

me: ok.

6 year old: “what slapped your face last night???”

Jesus Christ. Finally got home at 5:30 and cracked open some glorious goddamned suds. Then I finished putting laundry away.

- Back to the goddamned meat grinder.

- With a new Wildcat Lodge or at least renovations on the horizon, I think the powers that be should look to the interior design of Drake’s condo and just copy it as best they can (substitute for the color blue where appropriate). What young hooper would want to live anywhere else? They’re worth it. Let them live like it.

- Speaking of, I’ve been picking up some nice lil’ commissions just rendering house renovations ideas for people before they take it to a contractor / get zoning approval, etc. HGTV has created a market for neat-o computer visualizations and I am blowing away the traditional players’ capabilities / work product. If any GYEROers are dormer dreamin’, HMU!

- Personal project-wise, I’m working on a headboard/art wall piece for my daughter’s bedroom that is pretty intense. 12’x6’ of 6 layers of 1/4” MDF CNC into overlaying patterns of 12 different colors that all come together to become the It’s A Small World castle from Tokyo Disney. Integrated bookshelf, lighting, the works. Pieces are cut, now I just need to seal, sand, paint, assemble, and mount it. Easy-Peasy.

- Rogue, where can I send my t-shirt designs? March is fast approaching.

Joey, will eventually have a project for you. I have a really mysterious house. It’s from 1903, then a few additions over the years. We have walls that we don’t even know what’s behind. Hopefully large troves or cash. But it’s probably petrified dog **** or something.

working together - We can make the city of beautiful homes even more beautiful.

A Webster-style Secret Passage House has always been a bucket list project, tbh. Our last house had a deck that would’ve been perfect for some Chuck-E-Cheese-style “below-the-stage” tunnels underneath for the kiddos - but we moved.

Local house reno GC’s are booked through the Fall/Winter ‘23 - which doesn’t seem too bad. I’m meeting a few in the coming weeks to review my grand designs for Summer 2023.

I don’t care if it’s an open hand or closed fist, Howard should never coach again. A line has to be drawn somewhere.
He'll be suspended a few games, maybe until the end of the regular season. I'd be surprised if he got the rest of the season off. Gard probably gets a game for putting hands on Howard first. The players who threw haymakers probably sit a few as well.

I don’t get the “you can’t put your hands on another man” crowd. They were in a handshake line where people shake hands, hug each other, pat each other on the chest, back, etc. There is more physical contact permitted (and expected) in that scenario than just about anything the rest of us do in our lives.

Howard got hot playing man-to-man full court against bench players when the game was out of reach and he is mad because the other coach called TO to avoid a 10 second call on his scrubs? I am glad he got hot so we could see how irrational he can be when his team gets manhandled.

Because it’s nonsense.

But Gard touched his forearm! Oh Lord. Where Howard grew up, that’s akin to inviting a duel.

It’s macho ******** that 19 year olds buy into but probably not something a 50-year-old multimillionaire head college coach should use as reasoning.
