Wild because this forum has been pretty positive the last several weeks. Crazy to see the turn so quick. Game is ugly, no doubt. But, a loss here doesn’t doom out season. I think we all expected to drop at least one more game. And this one isn’t over yet.

True. Still, our PG makes terrible decisions with the ball sometimes. He waited a split second too long to throw the pass to Grady on the break. Gave their transition defense time to recover.

Btw, Wheeler is a junior and Collins is a freshman that hasn’t had a ton of run. Wheeler should know better.

Barnes knows how to defend Cal’s Half court O. So if Cats aren’t in transition they struggle to score. That’s why Barnes is over 500 against Cal.

Going to have to run in 2nd half if they can.

Have to get back in transition and feed Oscar who will be doubled so he needs to kick it out for open 3s, we must make a very high percentage to have a prayer.

Yeah that was really cool when Grady made a three and then proceeded to get absolutely dominated on the other end and committed a foul and gave them two points right back.

I really want this to be one of those times where we do come back. But it’s just not going to happen. Too many guys just haven’t come to play tonight and Tennessee has an excellent strategy to attack us.

And unfortunately that strategy is something that other teams are going to try to utilize. We just don’t have any shot blockers in the paint and Oscar is slow footed.

What strategy? Lol all they’re doing is taking advantage of a hurt tyty and they’re hitting shots…I see no special strategy being employed. Wayyyy too many ppl take one game or one play and extrapolate that to a season lol

Man I’m as disappointed as anyone in that first half but we are playing a ranked, good team on their home court and revenge on their mind after we embarrassed them at Rupp. I would have been shocked if we walked in and beat them easily again. That is not something that typically happens with a Rick Barnes team. If we win that is an incredible win but it’s not that much to be ashamed of to lose this game.
