Hey man, @LowCountryCat really only cares if you have your commas and prepositional phrases in the right order.I didn’t say you owed me or anyone else an explanation. I did say it is irresponsible to call people liars and attribute motives to them you call facts without any evidence to back it up. Maybe fairness and objectivity are not words in your vocabulary, that’s fine it takes all kinds to make a world I suppose.

Man, you got all the theories. You should be Kentucky’s coach....He should be fired.
Sharpe is the best recruit we've had in a long time and we clearly need another guard.
There is ZERO excuse not to play him at least 10 minutes per game to see what he can do.
Don't give me that lousy 'fitness' excuse. He doesn't have to play 39 minutes. He can contribute and I'm sure he's better than Hopkins/Collins/Allen/Ware three of whom have been playing during those minutes where our lead shrinks.
Don't give me that lousy 'BuT hE nEeDs To LeArN TeH OfFenSe!' excuse unless you can actually articulate what offense we currently run other than GOOOOOOOOOOOOO! RUUUUUUUUUUUN!
Don't give me that lousy 'but he needs to learn defense' excuse after I just mentioned Hopkins/Collins/Allen/Ware.
On the other hand, if Cal plays Sharpe NOW and he gets integrated into the lineup and starts contributing, even as little as 8/4 a game in, say, 15 minutes, we could be a FF team THIS YEAR.
Hopefully Cal is just keeping his cards close but IMHO Sharpe should be playing next week.
But I'm suspicious that Cal doesn't want him to play for fear of Sharpe exploding and making Cal look bad because he didn't get to 'train' him first.
My position and attitude is not about any particular UK basketball team, it's about the Program that Cal is running. The state of the program is not about "a moment in time" ... it's about the long-term sustainable condition over years. The last legitimate team Calipari had should have easily won the national championship was 2015, yet he, Calipari, managed to screw that one up and to make things worse Duke won it. Since that time ... talking years ... things only got worse with no legitimate title contenders. Maybe you like Cals methods...I don't. UK teams since 2015...have been well below UK standards. If that's what you want, you should be content. Good for you. Enjoy it while it lasts ... for the moment. Cal is not building "consistent" title contenders year in and year out because, as he's stated, that's not his goal. OAD will not and cannot deliver consistency to a winning program whose goal it is to win championships. If Cal's goal was to win national championship, he would not be running a WHOLESALE OAD program, yet he does. UK has put more players into the pros than any other program...that's Cals goal. With all those pros having come through the UK program, this being Cal's 13th year, any reasonable person would think UK must have won multiple national championships in that span of years. That's what a great "coach" would have done with that type of talent on college basketball biggest stage all while being paid more than any other college coach. If this result makes you happy then I'm happy for you. I don't lose myself in the statistical minutiae and then pound my chest until my brain believes it's all true. I'll leave that to you.All is not well with the program???
*We have the number one recruiting class with the number one player in the nation coming in next year....
*Averaging 9th most points per game in the nation
*The 3rd place assist leader in the nation....
*The number one rebounder and leading candidate for NPOY....
*Second place in SEC
*A head coach that is second all time in wins at UK with a 77% winning percentage while there.
This is one of the most exciting, enjoyable, hard working and likable UK teams ever.
You either haven't been watching, don't know Jack Sh** about basketball, are still crapping your pants over Cal's politics or all of the above.
2015, 2017 and 2019 were all very good teams with at least a shot at a title. The state of the program in not about "a moment in time" ... it's about long-term sustainable over years. I think you just discredited yourself completely and proved you know absolutely zero about college basketball. My position and attitude is not about any particular UK basketball team, it's about the Program that Cal is running. Sambow...I don't "hate" anyone and certainly not illogical to question Cal. Oh...I'm not the only one who does. Now...settle down and enjoy your version of reality and I will enjoy mine. We have differing opinions and that's OK.2015, 2017 and 2019 were all very good teams with at least a shot at a title.
2022 team is as well.
You are so blinded by illogical Cal hate you have completely lost any perspective.
Whatever you say Bass. I agree to simply agree. Your shoes still soggy?I think you just discredited yourself completely and proved you know absolutely zero about college basketball.
A national championship is NEVER easily won. Only the profoundly ignorant would dare make such a stupid comment.
The words entitled brat come to mind.
This is correct. This is not a situation where we have not been in the conversation. Winning the championship is an incredibly difficult thing to do. We seem to be consistently in position to make a run for the title. That's all that can be expected.2015, 2017 and 2019 were all very good teams with at least a shot at a title.

I can imagine the press conferences, if he can ever find his way to the podiumMan, you got all the theories. You should be Kentucky’s coach.
I'm glad you're here Bass. I always enjoy reading your posts. Now get outta those wet shoes...you'll catch a cold.Yeah, hard not to get soggy shoes from all the crying about the basketball program. Never saw so many sob uncontrollably over success.

Good call. The idiot fringe: Cal was terrible last year, we'll always be terrible forevermore under Cal, oh we're wining, well then he should have played Allen more, oh he's terrible, well then Sharpe should play now or FAR CAL!!!!!!!!!!!
Where you at bro? @ftp000It's equal to the number of ridiculous reasons morons call for Cal to be fired.
It always amuses me when some fans make the claim that Calipari "doesn't run offense" or ask " What offense do we run?". Coaches have different names for offensive sets and concepts. So instead of giving you a name like Princeton offense or dribble drive motion offense I am going to provide a video which is very informative as to what sort of sets coach Calipari runs.
By the way when coach yells "Go" and "Run" he is not calling sets. What Calipari wants is the players to sprint up the court with maximum effort until they are exhausted and then to sub themselves out. Even College level athletes need this at times as some will slow down without even realizing it.
Hope you and others find the vid helpful.
You’re quiet tonight. This is correct. This is not a situation where we have not been in the conversation. Winning the championship is an incredibly difficult thing to do. We seem to be consistently in position to make a run for the title. That's all that can be expected.
hes buying new merch for Cals next team he will be coaching. You’re quiet tonight.
@Ocornett Good callPot calling the kettle black. Everyone knows you’re the biggest Cal hater posting on HOB or RR. Cal will determine when Sharpe plays not you. Who do you think you are to determine Cal should be fired if he doesn’t play Sharpe on your self imposed timeline. You’re a nobody posting stupid takes on RR, and no one but you gives a **** about what you think. Cal isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, so learn to deal with it or find another team and coach to hate on.
@MoneyMuntz You were saying? This team runs very effective offensive sets, but you have never played basketball in your life and can’t understand the elements of the game. That’s okay, but you shouldn’t be coming on message board making yourself look foolish by bitching about something you know nothing about. Per KenPom we are #8 in Adjusted Offense BTW, so STFU.
@the stat manOk you win the dumb *** post of the day and it’s only 10:40 central time!! Don’t see how anyone can top this doozy though
I'd lay off the sauce. I have made quite a number of posts. Haters heads have exploded. Some people are so deranged they can't even read. You’re quiet tonight.
@Mastershake1234a How good is that offense again? So our players are just so damn good he rolls the ball out and has a top 8 offense in the country?
@OmahaCats Muh Team ChemistryDo you just ***** to *****? He’ll eventually play him. He’s not going to tell us that. And yeah he might not be ready for a few weeks. Of course we know he’s talented enough. But the team has chemistry right now and he has to learn how to play with them. Which he will. He’ll play and probably thrive in due time. I’d say by February
@FinancialPlannerZac YepI don't disagree with that sentiment. But you're original post said he SHOULD be fired. Still think he should be?
I didn’t have to. It was my thread, genius.Did you go back and search for this? Impressive
@sk73You are getting goofier with each passing day. Give the kid a chance to acclimate and then see what happens. He will play but when Cal decides, not you. No one wants to win more than Cal except for maybe, me.
