I believe Wheeler is only a junior with one more year of eligible if I am correct. Since UK is losing both Mintz and Grady and now Sharpe likely headed to the 2022 Draft wouldn’t it make since for both UK and Wheeler for him to come back for another year?

You are correct in that he will never play in the NBA. It depends on how much he is getting at UK. I could see him returning for another year.

I remember reading it on here that he said he would only be at UK for a year because he wants to make some money,
He’s literally making 6 figures. And that’s about what he’d make in the G league.
It was an article when he was deciding between UK and Kansas.He said he intended to stay at the school he chose for one season.He actually declared for the draft before that,I don't know what planet he's living on that he thinks he's an NBA player.
Wheeler will be a fascinating decision. I do recall the saying he’d be here for a year, but where would he go? His numbers aren’t that different than last year. Games like ND and last night are why he needs to come back to better prepare for a long G League or overseas career. I personally think he makes the Mintz decision. Wanting to get out of college but can make more money at UK than going pro, therefore he stays.
He and Brooks probably get drafted by the same team.
That's why I said this years team. Not last years, Allen can easy come back and average 10 points or so, getting plenty of guard minutes.

Your scenario, I see Wheeler, Wallace, Cook, Livingston, and Collins(unless the Grad transfer is really good) starting. I have heard Livingston was recruited to play the 4 as Cal wants to play 4 out. Cook starts if he reclasses and comes here.
Was supposed to have happened this season too and then there was Oscar, Toppin and Brooks or a combination of 2-3 bigs on the court most all of the time. No way Toppin doesn't start next season and he's not playing the 5.
If Fredrick returns to 100% there is no way he doesn’t start .imo
