So this may be a good sign.
Our offensive performance against ranked teams is a small sample size, but based on how we lose in the NCAA Tourney over the years with Cal as coach it is a valid concern. I think we score way more against LSU if Wheeler is healthy, but we cannot know that for sure.

Both being 1. the first game of the year, wheeler playing too much and Duke playing their best game (Once again). and 2. Wheeler and TyTy out. Still had a chance to win both.
I wonder if pushing Sharpe to play now is not a repeat of the Bates mistake that Memphis has done. We do know this is not a 4 year player, so perhaps beginning in February I don't see how it would hurt to put him in when the game is out of reach in our favor and let him get his feet wet, so to speak, where there is no real pressure..
