I definitely know Cal's record at UK against Pitino. I could care less about any other time they played each other. I am a Kentucky fan so that is all I care about.

Sure doesn't help your narrative. Cal beat Pitino when Cal was at UMass when Pitino had a much better team. Cal just out coached Pitino and Cal almost beat Pitino in the final four when clearly UK had much better talent.

Pitino won twice. NCAA might not count one of those wins but the game happened. If you don’t want to count it then Calipari sucked as a coach in 1996 and couldn’t even make the NCAA tournament even though he had the National player of the year.

I looked in the NCAA record book and Pitino only won once against Cal while Pitino was at Louisville. Pitino sucks. He was at Louisville 16 years and won zero titles. Cheated his arse off and left Louisville with vacated wins and a vacated title and on probation.

My God man, Cal's 96 season was vacated because Camby took money and gifts from an agent.
Cal's 2008 season and Runner up was also vacated, because Rose had his brother take his SAT for him and Pitino's 2013 season was vacated because they used hookers as an unfair recruiting advantage.
Cal (in both cases) and Pitino were not directly involved in any of these cases, but it doesn’t mean one is any different than the other, all 3 seasons were vacated.

Another thing about the Memphis allegations. Rose had his high school transcript changed to allow him entry into college too.
Someone with access to Rose's academic records at Simeon High School changed a D to a C on his transcript. The newspaper reported that Rose was one of four athletes at the school whose grades were boosted for a one-month period after their June 2007 graduation and then changed back after the bogus transcripts were sent to colleges.

Pitino made the final four with Providence and Calipari was in the national championship with Memphis so I don’t the school made these coaches what they are. Pitino and Calipari were both going to win a title somewhere, we just got lucky that both did it while at UK
