I feel ya Mayfield native myself. The destruction was so widespread. It was a category 4 bordering on 5 from Fulton to Muhlenberg county! 3/4 of a mile wide when it hit Mayfield. We lost 21 people here. I sadly lost a friend Robert Daniel jail guard at the candle company here in Mayfield and a friend in Muhlenberg county. Matt Ferguson. Just the saddest situation possible for almost half the state

Lost a couple friends but there were homes and businesses destroyed 500 ft from where I sit. Where I live, my son's, and my parents home had very minor damage. My family owns 2 businesses a restaurant I help my dad run and a haunted house I own with my son that were virtually untouched. The Restaurant got power and we opened for business yesterday. The church 50ft behind it was destroyed. So although I am sad I do understand just how much worse personally it could have been for me and mine

So was I. They had that big center who dominated us. It was my senior year of high school. Totally sucked.

I was sitting in the lower part of the upper arena about 3 or 4 rows up. Somehow I wound up in a section with about a dozen WKU fans who were all drunk and obnoxious. I recall WKU had a couple euro kids who played very well (Pandov and I can’t remember the other guys name). UK played like hot garbage, could not guard a fence post. That was the game I kind of gave up on Marvin Stone (RIP).
