The bad part about your alma mater is there are people in our own Commonwealth that forget you guys are there.

Morehead does have an outstanding music school and has courted some good ball squads through the years.

When he was an assistant coach, Jimmy Feix who later became head football coach, helped me get an academic scholarship that paid my tuition at Western for a year. I would not have started college had he not done that. I later graduated from Murray State. I have a warm spot in my heart for Western.

Jimmy Feix was a good man.

I considered Morehead for a bit. But that would literally have put me like 4 hours from home and I was helping my Mom with my Dads issues (they were just starting up). So I just didn’t feel comfortable being that far if something happened.

Oh I agree completely but wasnt he running his mouth back in pre season about us and Duke not coming to Spokane.I know I read that somewhere.

Ohio was also a quad 3 opponent. Ohio is still higher ranked in the NET and Kenpom than WKU. So short answer, no its not.
