One of the new hobbies I’ve developed is looking up actors ages when the movie was made for some of my favorite movies growing up. Unfortunately I’m approaching or older than most of them at this point which is a crazy reality check of time. My wife is very horrible at this game as well.

“Hey babe how old you think Chevy Chase is here?” (Watching Xmas vacation)

“Ummm, 30?”

🙄

The older movies and TV shows from the 60' s and earlier are what get me. Watch a Twilight Zone and the intro is something like "Meet Bob Smith, a 35-year old ad executive"... and Bob is easily 20-25 years older, and if the character is mid40s-50 they are white headed or bald. I guess heavy drinking, chain smoking, steak and fried foods and fighting to make the world safe for democracy really age a man

Insurance charged me $560 instead of the usual $212 a month.

Call my guy knowing it’s a mistake and let him know to clean it up.

Well, no, sorry can’t do that. Our policy was going up due to my wife having a minor accident 10 months ago and since we are on an annual premium we are just now seeing it. But the main reason for the increase is that your wife added your 16 YO niece.

Me: We don’t have a 16YO niece.

Him: Tells me the name of my 17YO nephews girlfriend.

Happy Friday!
-My same insurance plan was scheduled to go from $91/month to $384/month in January which there was no way I was paying. Given I’ve had $172K in claims this year of which I paid only $1800 so probably deserved. Called an agent at a place called Womankind and after 15 minutes with him switching a couple things, I basically have the same plan for free for the next year and it actually works outside Florida. Any place that takes Blue Cross/Shield I can go to now.

-My platonic lesbian wife/business partner is going to look at a house/put money down if we’re lucky enough to be picked. Finding housing is so touched right now. Taking 10K cash to put in the guys face because the other loser applicants won’t be doing that. 3/2 on the water/canal. Extra bedroom for business and storage. A rare Keys garage as well.

Ready to get out of my place even though my room and bathroom are dope(for KW). Tired of drunken coked up friends banging on my door at 2am asking me what I’m up to, idk sleeping mfer. Go to bed. Fingers crossed it happens.

We’d be in Cudjoe though so 25 miles from KW which is FINE with me. I don’t do anything there anymore besides business, gym, bike rides and visit friends.

-Sorry gang but I have very little faith we beat UNC but maybe since Ty Ty has seen the bright lights and big stage he’ll be more ready this time. That’s the game changer imo.

-Dog getting neutered Tuesday. REALLY don’t want to do it but advice has been to do so because of testicular cancer down the road. Hope it doesn’t change him at all. He’s awesome.

Expect Brady Manek to have his best game of the year.

Think we win. If you can’t get excited about UK/UNC dunno what to tell you. Nobody I enjoy beating more.

Decent chance we lose, but we can talk about that later if need be. For now, F UNC.

Curious to see the line. Can’t see it being more than 3 or 4 either way.

I think we might have a shot against the 96 Bulls since they are old.

Couch seems like an ancient relic from my childhood…but is the same age as Tom Brady. Pretty wild imo.

Tim looks like he could be a lber for the Browns right now. Outside his shoulder being shot, he is in better shape than the majority of QB's in the NFL.

UK vs UNC tomorrow?!? That changes my whole day…….damn!

OSU = Xmas shop all day, grab lunch and casually pour a drink as the game starts while we start dinner.

UNC = Everyone out! Smoker rolling with some wings or ribs or something, and first drink poured before the smoker starts.

As long as we’re winning the kids can come into the living room and do whatever, but if we are losing STAY TF AWAY, and order pizza or something but do not bother me until it’s over!

Mary in the Department Store really first got me thinking, I guess. That was the start of it all. Then Ellen was wearing hose Christmas Eve and I just assumed they stopped somewhere up her thigh like Mary's, but it was also okay if they didn't, I supposed. I was interested in that, too. Could have been a garter but I wasn't really aware of those just yet. I was 8 or 9.

I'm stupeified, after a consistent pattern of affrays, that I still have to remind family and friends of this. I would have thought that the WVU E8 loss would still sting fresh, considering how BAD it got.

My wife's friend, that thought it was a good idea to say, "At least we got this far." was the tipping point that led to a meltdown for the ages.
