That movement and the pass to Oscar was the best offense I’ve seen all year. Guys have to be willing to keep moving.
Yes he had a great teacher!Give Woods credit. He’s got a solid defense.
Yea Tony Bennet who was the first to ever lose to a 16 seed….. within the last 6 yearsOkay, what about the last 6 years...or does just tonight matter?
You might have a really good point about Grady getting ready before the catch. I hadn't thought about that. Something is going on. He didn't play this timid and reluctant at Davidson, and I don't buy the "level of competition" excuse at all. Davidson played good and experienced basketball teams regularly. One thing is he needs work harder to get his feet ready to shoot on the catch. He often takes too much time to gather himself, so he isn’t open by the time he does.
I read someone say that Grady needs to watch Rip Hamilton film and move like him…although Kellen may not be in good enough shape to run the defender into the ground the way Rip did.
This is not international basketball. You cannot tip the ball in while it's on the rim.Why no basket?,
With their best player injured just before the tournament. Didn't they win it all the next year?Yea Tony Bennet who was the first to ever lose to a 16 seed….. within the last 6 years
Or coaching. This team has zero focus.
Yeah, but when SEC refs call every touch foul on him, he can't play. He’s going to be sitting a lot. That sucks.
I think last year our offense was the worst thing I’ve ever seen. The year before that with Quickley, a Maxey, and Hagans it looked really good. Tonight has obviously been a struggle.Do you really think they are taught to do so???
It’s hard to believe year after year that Cal’s offenses look stagnant with almost no play besides watching a high pick and roll and think ALL the players during those years just weren’t listening to Cal. please help me understand that
and no basket. GREAT OFFICIATINGNo foul on that layup for TyTy?
My least liked player.Brooks is more selfish than Terrence Jones. Trying to catch up to Archie Goodwin’s record for going to the rim against 2 or 3 guys instead of dumping it off to a teammate.
Congrats. Present day they just took a real BAD L sonWith their best player injured just before the tournament. Didn't they win it all the next year?
Did ok against Ohio (a better team) without him for a bit. We’re just somewhere else tonight.Imagine where these guys would be without Oscar. Makes me cringe just thinking of it.
Yes, plus his team is comprised of QUICKNESS !!!Give Woods credit. He’s got a solid defense.
