Meh, banchero wasn't effective with Toppin guarding him. Keels was allowed to bulldoze. Moore wasn't impressive to me.

It was also clear that our inside presence is a huge problem and will be an Achilles heel all season long. Duke had Mark Williams and Theo John, plus the Griffin kid who came off the bench. We have Oscar who had a heck of a game but he's only one guy and will see a lot of minutes on the bench in foul trouble. We will be mediocre.

Keels was a top 15 guy we did not even offer until very very late. The thing I like about Livingston and Wallace is that are physically ready to play at this level.

He was just fine vs Toppin. Toppin just did better than Brooks and he was cramping. And while i agree with you on the free throws Duke also only made 1 three the entire game So imo it evens out.
Foul disparity impacts the game in way more important ways than just points in the board.
banchero is a stud obviously everyone knew that. I did not think keels would be that good & Moore was nothing special his first two years but last night he was playing ball. On the other hand I kept hearing crap how dominate mark Williams is all year and he’s overrated, clumsy and is just a somewhat rim protector. We should have just let them shoot 3s last night

Oscar had 17 and 19. Broke records. We were clearly outgunned but to say those three were better than anyone on our roster is panicked fantasy. No need to be so emotional.
K would trade teams with Cal and beat him. I hate to say that, because I despise K, but it is what it is.
