Don’t need to, those gals are easy. It’s the 20s you have to work for, but how would you know, you haven’t slept with a girl in her 20s in a couple decades?

Also I’m an avid reader. Reading Falling right now.
Bud, I could prolly sleep with some two bit ***** gold digger.

Just prefer a relationship with someone who actually liked me even if I was a bartender or something like that.

May is an underrated cold month. Seems like it’s either perfect or 45 degrees and raining. September is number 1, might go October 2. We are just really in the prime of the calendar fellas.

I told y’all Cal looked sickly. Sounds like I nailed it once again. He’s put some weight back on now. Looks tan. Probably been giving Ellen that good pipe. Really excited for the upcoming basketball season.

- 9/11 is the defining moment of our generation. I don't begrudge anyone being fascinated by it, especially this time each year. I have that new NatGeo doc queued up on the DVR, and I may still have time to catch Chad's Netflix rec. Of course, "102 Minutes that Changed America" is the rawest doc from that day, and Ari Fleischer's Twitter feed is always fascinating on the anniversary. Visited the memorial a couple of summers ago and had about the same reaction I anticipated having. What *got* me was that they put a flower on the names of victims whose birthdays are that particular day. Pretty haunting to see a few flowers next to some names.

- Randy Edsall is the college football version of that quote by Batman's nemesis Two-Face: "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." The guy was never gonna replicate the success of his first run at UConn. Too much of the CFB landscape had changed, and the program had been left in the dust. He should have known better, but you know, $$$.

- Having said that, I think Schiano's second run at Rutgers will prove just what a terrific college coach he is. They're in a big(ger) boy league now than his first time around, but still....he's probably gonna get them to where they're winning at least 7 games a year, and can pop up and get a 9th win every few years. Which, considering that region, is remarkable.

- Old-school thing that I miss....those old Kentucky basketball/football schedule calendars with hand-drawn sketches of coaches/players. Those things were everywhere in the 70's/80's. Compliments of your local insurance agency (usually).

- Wheat Thins are just fine the way they are, they don't need any help. Triscuits, on the other hand...

Oh, you better get ready for that 2nd half under 16, where he gets lost in his subs and we end up with: Wheeler, Toppin, Oscar, Ware, Mintz. It's coming.

I certainly love recruiting, especially grabbing the #1 player, a shooting guard at that, but I'm really excited about not having to endure 2 months of early season agony watching several freshman try to figure it out before Feb.

Sharpe is that rare combination of FREAK athlete, and picture-perfect/effortless shooting stroke. Dude looks like he's 6'7+ when he's out there. He's just scratching the surface, too -- wasn't even Top 100 a year ago. Tucker's piece w/ his old coach will get you jacked, if you aren't already.

-October 14-31 are Kentucky at its best JMO. I could live in that window forever. That said, Thanksgiving week around here is sublime for old Holiday dogs like me.

-"State of Love and Trust" MTV Unplugged FTW

-Was good to see folks at the WCTGE again, even pti. Nice to meet CSC. Always a pleasure, rudd. Anth's setup is pretty damn sharp. Well done (lol), bud.

I kind of feel like the walls are caving in on my circle of internet friends. Just far more familiarity and mutual friends with the newcomers. It's all good, of course. Just not as truly random as the original cast of ********.

-I am honestly happy for Cal. I rode that dude pretty hard for some time, but as a fan and as a human being I love to see him being his old self again. Good stuff. Hoping he goes scorched earth for the next decade or so.

-To balance such positivity, my blood pressure is already rising about basketball media day and the boys wearing the same sorry excuse for a Kentucky Basketball uniform we've been stuck with since the Obama Administration (THANKS, OBAMA). I just don't understand.

-Dealing with a cold I initially thought was allergies. Took a COVID test yesterday. Awaiting results. I'll be disappointed if it isn't covid tbh. Just give it to me already and get it over with. Will keep everyone posted.

-Matrix, Kill Bill, and the Star Wars series: movies I'm quite content to never see.

-Between the ballgame and a Woodford Co. wedding it was nice to experience the Bluegrass outside the River City again. Had been awhile, frankly. I've got to get to Keeneland this fall.

-Seems like it's personal with Mizzou this year. F those nerds. I want to kick the dogshit out of them.

The 9/11 Memorial is too touristy, or at least it was when I was last there in 2013. People taking selfies, smiling, talking, laughing. Show some respect. That **** doesn't fly at the Arizona Memorial and it shouldn't fly there either.

Eh. And getting hammered on or in water is a Memorial Day tradition. Either way, I didn't have that experience at all.

The museum is one of the most powerful experiences one could ever have, imo. Spent hours in there, and could have easily spent days.

He's already got a grown *** man body and elite coordination, per 2 minutes of youtube clips. Usually you see guys that caliber who have the tools but aren't there yet. Intriguing prospect.

Since he's Canadian, I'm going to assume he's a rich man's Jamal Murray.

Partying at a lake or barbecue is not comparable to having the decency to show just a little respect when you are actually at the site of the attack where people are still buried. I'm all for having a museum and a memorial, just wish they would police the decorum a little better.

  • On 9/11, My BIL and cousin were yards away from people who jumped and violently decelerated to their deaths. **** you cannot unsee.
  • Tidbit: Working Union electrical crews (about 30 Local 3 dudes) walked off trade center construction site, after seeing scores of apparitions. Silverstein bought their silence, supposedly.
  • 9/11 hits different to NYC/NJ folks. Very personal.
  • Party weekend didn’t disappoint, neither did Levis. First time I saw a drastic change in offensive philosophy and talent since Couch’s first season with Mumme. This is gonna get fun with this band of all-timers on OLine, CRod, WanDale and Bates.

Could be worse, like tourists running out in the street between cars and posing on the X where the President of the United States had his head blown off.

You know swaggy Cal is back when we bring back the "friendly" game of kickball back. I think the 12 team was the first to have one at a middle school or something like that. That wink and **** eating grin in the video posted, he back. Take no prisoners, demolish every team in our path, ATKOT. We going to straight murk fools. College basketball is about to feel the wrath of a pissed off, embarrassed, assassin. Getting **** right is a theme Cal is an expert at and will straight **** down college basketball's throat and make them like it. And there is not a GD thing they can do about it. This year or next, he will get #9 and the rest that will come will put us back at the top of the mountain.

- Well, it’s only the 20th anniversary. smh It was the seminal moment of our generation.

- Loved the Lou Holtz/Pete Gillen “Joe Baggadonuts” routine before a big game. Man, that was something- back when coaches had personalities.

- Speaking of, love’m or hate’m, always great when Notre Dame pulls out the green wienies for a big game. Just the audacity of the move alone makes me happy.

- Psscht, internet friends. I know more about the day-to-day lives of you a-holes than all but a couple of my best friends on earth. SAE loves the idea of some sort of border. There is none, anymore. We bros.

- Not tragic (except for Native Americans) , but I absolutely loved the Jamestown museum. Could have spent a few more hours in there.

I was ready to leave the 9/11 Memorial/Museum after about 5 minutes. Just didn’t feel it was appropriate for me to be walking around there... especially in portions of the underground part.

I'm looking forward to basketball, but I'll take the wait-and-see approach. Not a chance I'm hyping myself up ever again during the preseason. At this point I prefer to see what we have during games and be happy about it, rather than be redassed to infinity when they don't live up to my ridiculous expectations.

I really want to get there. I had some ancestors that lived in Jamestown. They weren't OG,but still got there prior to 1630.

One thing Cal will need to continue to do is work the transfer portal and keep a mix of stud, ELITE freshmen and some veteran, battle tested JRs and SRs. Can't go back to relying ONLY on the young elite talent. Sharpe has to work on his shot selection and handles, but he is a better defending Malik Monk. His biggest "issue" is dribbling too much and settling for off balance jump shots.

HUBER with an extry PR boost via KSR.

Well done, sir.
Was it mentioned on KSR?

So I'm coaching my kids first Kid Pitch game, been there for an hour after a long day, sweating my *** off and ready to just go home because we clearly have won, and all of a sudden my phone starts vibrating in my pocket. Over and over and over again, the phone doesn't stop vibrating.

But I'm in the zone, Im coaching. Im helping this team of 9 -10 year olds get their first sweet taste of victory in their first game by putting them in positions to win. You know, the standard Coach Huber way. 😂

Anyways, the phone doesn't stop vibrating from calls, notifications, whatever it is, but I see my wife and it's not her, so I disregard.

Game ends, I pull my phone out, and all hell had broken loose. Calls, texts, hundreds of notifications from social media, it just didn't stop until late in the night.

We don't usually worry a ton about social media. We do our part and are active, but invest much more in SEM, SEO, and other digital marketing than we do the social side, but we've never had as much Twitter activity as we did off of one super basic Twitter post from Bully.

This morning, we have already had 6-7 customers come in and even more customers calling in mentioning the post.

It's honestly blown my mind and really didn't expect much from it other than helping out some student athletes that are part of the team that we love.

If this made so many waves, wait till everyone sees some of the other stuff we did that's just waiting to drop.

-I think the D comes out nasty on Saturday. Stoops goes with he knows and CRod has a huge game. Statement made. We roll. Fun had by all. Bop Gun ensues. New neighbors realize what they've moved into, don't care, been there 13 years, I'm tenured, bitches. Wake up hungover picking cigarette butts out of random crevices.

-I'm going to throw our office printer in the middle of the street. Office Space was so accurate with several of the scenes, but the printer scene just hits different. I hate this POS. "Why do you say paper jam, when there's no paper jam!!"

-I'm a hard core March - October guy. Basketball and Holidays are all I have for the winter.

-Good to see SAE is finally allowing internet friends to be real life, pals. What a freaking honor. Stop pushing back and embrace it, bubba.

-At the point of the year, or maybe just a long streak, that I'm REALLY struggling to eat healthy. Just craving stupid **** like tons of pasta and Wendy's. 🤬Stay strong.

-After being hard headed about pellet grills, I'm completely sold. At least the Camp Chef puts out PLENTY of smoke for me. If you want more, you're overpowering your food. 6 or 7 on the smoke setting with cherry wood worked dead nuts this weekend. Other than that it's a f*cking convection oven so I can dial it in perfectly from an app on my phone. Unreal. Picked up the sear box that will hit 1000 in like 8 minutes. I don't see any weaknesses with that setup. Probably going to swap out the BGE for one on my back deck. Even though that BGE looks $ sitting there on it's pedestal.

-Bully looks good on that mower. I like it. Good for the kiddos. Much deserved. Really interested to see what Cal packages together. He's not going to let Penny and Fedex get too far out front.

-The Kennedy Assassination spot is just so weird. So much smaller than you'd expect from the footage.

I've been to Dealey Plaza. Walked out and stood near the X and just looked around. It was just sad. The graffiti on the grassy knoll wooden fence was the weirdest thing about the place IMO.

-Rolleyes at chad and anth. Relax. I use the term "Internet Friends" nostalgically/ironically at this point.
