geez if Cal can pull this one off he has definitely found his MOJO. From Rags to Riches in under a year.

I don't see how we take him with our roster TBH. I mean of course you take him, but I'd honestly feel bad for someone like Ware, who sticks around like we say we want, would likely have to xfer and he's already pretty engrained in the season and would be put in a ****** situation. I know you take the best players but it still feels bad.

I definitely see your point. I’ve heard Ware has been one of the vocal leaders in practice. As bad as I hate to see it and say it, I’m not sure how much Ware would contribute this year. Year 3-4, I think he can be solid but just don’t see him getting much PT yet.
I agree, but you go from some playing time to no playing time with Duren, and most guys just wouldn't be good with that.

Easily IMO. Most likely top 2/3 in the country. Potentially the best team in the country by February. JMO.
I don’t know which was worse, watching or listening....This guys definitely got a face for radio, and a voice for hooked-on-phonics recordings.
Buddy should focus on trying to be a golf announcer. Much more whisper friendly.

Loved Webber’s game. He was a stud in both college and the pros. Can’t stand him as a commentator, though.
We still should’ve beat them in 93. We just couldn’t get the tempo ever in our favor. Either way, still should’ve won. Had the best and hottest team in the country that year.
Michigan was the one team that I didn’t wanna play. They were strong down low and had a 6’9” PG, in Rose. Ford had the worst game of his career, arguably. Rose gave him fits and they covered him like a blanket the entire game.
Anyway, if Duren is even close to what Webber was, he’s going to be a great one. Webber was a rare talent. Hopefully, we get to see him in blue and white!

I agree, but prefer UK not get that kind of hype, especially to start a season. Rather they just be overlooked and not mentioned a lot.
Statistically and play style maybe more like a Julius Randle, maybe a little more ahead of schedule in his game than Randle.
Randle isn’t talked about as much as he should be here, but he was a fantastic college player, his name should be mentioned with KAT and AD’s names more.
Agree 100%. If we beat UConn and win that title, Randle all of a sudden becomes a UK legend. He should be anyway. Crazy how perception can change that much on one game or even one play.
Damn shame Randle wasn’t 100% in that title game. If he had been, we win going away. UConn had no answer for a healthy Julius Randle IMHO.

Matt Jones just said on his show he thinks it will be UK for Duren.
It would be more than huge, it would bring the hype that Wall to UK did to the fan base! We just came off the worst year ever to being title favorites this year with Duren!
