That guy was jacking up late three pointers like he was actually a sharpshooter. Like you I’m rooting for the Heat but he certainly helped losing a winnable game at the end.
Miami's whole plan the last few minutes of regulation and all of overtime was terrible. Dragan was killing the Bucks with that 15-17 jumper. Should have just run that for him the last few minutes of overtime instead of players trying to hit a home run with a three 5 seconds into the shot clock. Was not very disciplined basketball which is unusual for Miami.
So worst +/- on the team in game 1 and game 2. Bam is really gonna get it from the "NBA guys around the league".
Count down begins for this mediocre talent to whine his way out of another franchise.
Cats illustrated hero Jimmy Buyler who just wants to win and works harder than everyone else just put up the worst +/- on his team for the 3rd consecutive playoff game. Something isn't adding up with this Cats Illustrated superhero. I hear all the stuff he says about himself and all the stuff this board says, then I watch him play and he's been as soft as baby **** this entire series. Weird for such a tough guy.

-68 +/- thru 3 games with the Bucks. Team cancer. The entire Heat team played out of their mind in the bubble, Bam's defense was the difference maker against Boston. Jimmy was good last year in the bubble playoffs, I'll give him that, but absolute trash outside of that. He did not help Philly at all, just caused drama as usual and got sent packing. Pat Riley is probably packing his bags right now
Ok? I was responding to the point that he is trash when he isnt carried by other players, when it is pretty obvious that is far from the case.
It's pretty obvious he is not elite. Maybe not trash but he is trending quickly in that direction.
Since 2015... 5 out of the 6 years he has been an All-Star, 3-time All-NBA, 3 time All-Defense team. If that is "absolute trash" to you, then I would seriously question your logic. And lol, he definitely helped Philly, he gave them a closer they were sorely missing and led them as far into the playoffs as they have been since the A.I days. To say he didn't help Philly is one of the most idiotic things I have heard. That team was a lucky shot from Kawhi away from the ECF.
Butler would be a solid two piece on a team if it wasn't for all the other Jimmy Butler crap he brings to a team as well.
He doesnt need to be elite. He is a top 13-18ish player and there is nothing wrong with that. Unfair expectations have been put on him and the entire Heat team for overachieving as a 5 seed in last years playoffs.
No, He's not top 18. Especially when you take into an account how cancerous he becomes on every one of his teams. In 99% of the time, a 20 top player doesn't play on a new team every two years. There's a reason he does.
Used to be top 20. He is heading for a sharp decline, you heard it hear first. He is old, always injured and too mentally weak to be a high-quality role player.
You’re wasting your time. He made KAT cry and let everyone know he was butter soft physically and more worried about money & video games than winning, so a lot of UK fans hate the guy. They’ll take a bad series, when no one could throw it into the ocean, and act like it’s a guys whole career.
He got scored on every time back too. He was shooting 5 feet outside the arc. It was embarrassing.
Two weeks ago, Butler had a confrontation with coaches. No one knows what it was regarding. But lo’ and behold the rotation changed and Dragic became the featured scorer off the bench, Bam went into a shell, and Herro who was setting off back from injury lost minutes.
I said this was coming to some hoop buddies of mine and it was prophetic. He does this crap everywhere he goes.
And even after that "confrontation" (which was denied by him and his agent), they finished 5-1 over the last 6 to end the season. They ran into a buzzsaw this series which happens, the whole team, including Jimmy, has played terrible. But please dont try to blame Herro missing wide open shots and Bam not looking at the rim when he is wide open on Jimmy, everyone is to blame. And what is wrong with Dragic being the featured scorer off the bench, especially with Herro coming back from injury.
I dont even really like Jimmy, its just clear some people here hold a serious personal grudge against him.
Talking about the playoffs. And since Jimmy’s agent denied it, it never happened. But Jimmy did state that there was a disagreement but that kinda stuff happens all the time. So it really never happened. Agents are honorable.

No, I don't think he's top 18, and I told you why. It's more than numbers. Every team he's ever played for wanted him gone. I couldn't care less if he called KAT out. He didn't say anything that wasn't true. The guy is just a horrible teammate, and a cancer. He only cares about Jimmy Butler. If I'm a GM, I don't care about his numbers. He's not getting anywhere near my locker room. You don't say that about actual top 20 players in the league.
I never said it didnt happen, Shams said it did, his agent said it didnt, the truth is likely somewhere in the middle. Speaking of the playoffs you have rightfully been critical of Jimmy's play, but what are your thoughts on Herro shooting 7/25 throughout the series? Im guessing that is Jimmy's fault as well?
Pat Riley wanted him pretty bad, and some say he is one of the best talent evaluators in the league. I at least got to give you credit for having a take so bold that you cant find one NBA media ranking or publication that agrees with you
Not at all, Herro lost confidence and has played totally indecisive this series, with a little better pep tonight. Bam looked a little better but just seems to be missing shots early that he normally makes.
Ariza has been a bust, zero points in last two games. 0 for everything. Goran started off 2-10 finishing 3-14 tonight. Duncan Robinson couldn’t get a shot off and was 0-4 tonight from 3’s.
So no, the fault is not all on Jimmy. There’s enough to go around. Though the confidence level of Bam and TH and their indecisiveness cannot be denied. And yes, that’s what I’m saying. Butler has done this before, so I am absolutely stating he could very well be doing it again on his 4th team.
The word is Jimmy had a player on Chicago’s team dripping in his ear about Heat Culture. What I understand is that it was a mutual agreement between Riles and JB to join the Heat. And some believe Riley could keep him in check.

Bam and TH being indecisive and losing confidence doesn't (or at least shouldn't) have anything to do with Jimmy. Bam is getting paid $163 million and Tyler is a high-level scorer off the bench. If they are somehow scared of Jimmy to the point where they are missing and/or not taking open shots, then there are serious questions regarding their mental toughness.
Butler has a pattern of this. He publicly blasted KAT. He’s done it on every team he’s been with. True, maybe Bam and TH have toughness issues now. There is a pattern and there’s a reason the agent went extremely defensive on his vulgar rant on social media.
I agree with the KAT stuff being too far on Jimmy's end, but he has never said anything bad about Bam or Herro publicly and both have been supportive of Jimmy publicly as well. They are both pro's, if you cant take a guy that is intense like Jimmy pushing you in practice and on the court, then that is a you problem, not a Jimmy problem.
