My initial thought (hope) is UCLA has played over their heads and can’t keep it up...but Gonzaga has shot better than normal too. And it felt to me UCLA had the tempo and style they wanted.

Some will no doubt.

But Juzang made the decision. They all make the decision to stay or go. He wanted to be closer to home. It is what it is.
I guess some will argue that, but I think that he knew he was going to be recruited over and took the opportunity to leave.

Zags normally don't become great offensive players at the next level. Apparently Sabonis is the only guy averaging 20 ppg.

Cronin plays that Rick Pitino “hack 10 times every play ... the refs can’t call them all” style on defense we know and love so well. Harder to do when you aren’t deep.

And UCLA has close to no bench.

I know people feel like Cal just sticks to certain guys but on this team last season I have zero doubts Juzang would have gotten some serious playing time.

The problem is no one knew Boston would be a$$ and Clarke with the phantom long term injury would barely play. Juzang probably saw both of them coming in and thought he'd barely see 8 mins a game.

I thought this could have been the class to bring UK back to its rightful place. Was totally wrong.

Crooked refs doing everything to keep UCLA in the game. Should have been two flagrant committed against Suggs & a myriad of over the backs on the punks from UCLA.

Aint that the truth. Ill tell yah, I dont miss it. And I really think that's cheating the game.

Ayayi doesn’t really play like that very often though so they got some scoring help where Timme and Kispert were struggling a bit, should be an interesting 2nd half.

Lol if it wins titles who cares? Nice guys finish last.

As much as I want to fight this statement. I can't. Maybe we should do it.

I just know it would never be allowed. We've seen games where 4 guys foul out...

If every team could be allowed to pay players (like Duke) or hack and slap for only 25 fouls (UofL).. then fine. But we know that's not the case.

Can the secondary folks keep this up? Ayayi for Zags. Campbell/Bernard for Bruins
