My initial thought (hope) is UCLA has played over their heads and can’t keep it up...but Gonzaga has shot better than normal too. And it felt to me UCLA had the tempo and style they wanted.

Not playing well? They’re hitting over 60% of their field goals and have only turned the ball over four times.
Both teams are playing well.
Our offense looked so putrid compared to these teams.
I guess some will argue that, but I think that he knew he was going to be recruited over and took the opportunity to leave.
I hope they go four overtimes. Baylor can cakewalk right through whoever comes out of this game.
Zags normally don't become great offensive players at the next level. Apparently Sabonis is the only guy averaging 20 ppg.
I know people feel like Cal just sticks to certain guys but on this team last season I have zero doubts Juzang would have gotten some serious playing time.
With Clarke hurt I think so.But if Clarke had been healthy I have my doubts.
Cronin plays that Rick Pitino “hack 10 times every play ... the refs can’t call them all” style on defense we know and love so well. Harder to do when you aren’t deep.

The problem is no one knew Boston would be a$$ and Clarke with the phantom long term injury would barely play. Juzang probably saw both of them coming in and thought he'd barely see 8 mins a game.
I thought this could have been the class to bring UK back to its rightful place. Was totally wrong.

Ayayi doesn’t really play like that very often though so they got some scoring help where Timme and Kispert were struggling a bit, should be an interesting 2nd half.

If every team could be allowed to pay players (like Duke) or hack and slap for only 25 fouls (UofL).. then fine. But we know that's not the case.
Cal sucks at landing legit wing forwards, and when he does get them, they transfer and end up leading schools like UCLA and Michigan to the Final Four.
