It sound very strange but , in this thread, you can insert Clarke for Brooks and it is almost the same people making the same comments. Seriously, does anyone on this board know for sure about this injury or, non injury? With the info we have , common sense says he is opting out. You can also ponder the question, why opt out when you are not predicted to go in the first round. The Clarke deal is stranger than a dream. Is it a violation to actually come and say that he has a torn muscle or Maybe, Sam Bowie syndrome. Why the mystery?

Clarke was going to leave UK for the Gleauge but Jalen Green told the Gleauge coaches he didn’t wanna play with Clarke.

My son is close friends with a young lady in Lexington Her dad owns a business. One of his clients told him this morning that he uses a Uber driver in Lexington. The Uber driver has a kid on campus, and is telling people that 3 weeks ago, Clarke will be out 3 or more weeks. Huge news.

I broke two feet and ran two 3Ks the next weekend.

And won both.

He sure didn't look hurt at the 4:29 minute mark of the game when he was taken out although he didn't return for the remainder of the game. However he did only play 16 minutes in the game and he was mostly ineffective. They said he had been battling it for weeks in the video. It's easy to see where this has people confused.

Out 10 weeks for an injury that didn't even require surgery. Clarke has pulled a Jared Vanderbilt and cashed in his UK experience early. I will be SHOCKED if he is even drafted in the 2nd round. What has he done to show he can play in the G-League, much less the actual NBA?
He has done nothing and the way the NBA drafts he doesn't have to. His highschool tape and good combine numbers is enough to get him drafted on potential. He just came to college to get old enough or more specific one year removed from high school so that he is eligible to be drafted. This is an NBA problem that is hurting the college game. You can thank Kobe Bryant and a few other stars that went right out of high school for the way the NBA drafts now. All the teams are scared to miss out on the next Kobe, Lebron etc.. so they draft on potential of college underclassmen and not what they actually do in college. Playing could actually hurt his draft stock like it will BJ Bostons.

So Jalen Green can determine who plays in the G league? Sounds like a class league. I am assuming from this that Clarke has decided to opt out without being projected in the NBA first round. The UK medical staff and the coaching staff are being untruthful? Why exactly? Dozens of Football opted out of the season, especially from LSU. It didn't seem to hurt their recruiting for next year. What is another reason for not being truthful about Clarks. Not arguing , just seems bizarre to me.
