Cal went on one of his cheesy rants about people trying to steal the team’s joy after the win and SVP said he wasn’t trying to steal any joy but he watched the game and it was 2 teams who suck.

Yea, the teams did, but Donataie didn’t suck. This season is all about Dontaie and BJW’s dreams now.

Dontaie gets 30mpg minimum. He’s shooting whatever he pleases. I dare Cal to say otherwise.

Also, everybody other than Dontaie still needs haircuts.

I’m happy as a lark, but inside, way in the back of my mind, I am sharpening pitchforks and just waiting for Cal to f this Dontaie thing up...because he will. It’s just simple DREAMS math.

Paschal says "Last one, best one!" I assume that means the other seniors won't be returning. I'm got the list of returners as Josh Ali, Justin Rigg, Devonte Robinson, and Paschal. Am I missing someone?

I really hope Phil Hoskins comes back to be the greyest beard in college football and no one will probably ever top the 7 year mark.

Bruh, this most likely (and pretty obviously) means: "Last year, best year!"

Dontaie appears to be more than a catch-and-shoot guy. Looks like he has an array of moves to get his shot off and doesn't need much space or time to do it. Also grabbed a few big rebounds.

Just realized I was never redassed about which RB was in the game at any point yesterday. So that's at least a slight improvement over the Gran era already.

So someone showed up to a small Christmas gathering with Covid. Infected all 10 others, two of which were my neice and nephew. Those two then attended another, pre- symptom onset, and infected 9 of 10 others at our small gathering. My family of 4 has been getting our asses kicked for 5-6 days now, as have my parents, my sister and her two kids. Don't take your eye off the ball. It sucks.

That sucks. How long between when your niece and nephew went to the first party and the second part that infected you guys?

Creeks, all the best to your fam. Headaches were the worst part for me and they really hit at the tail end of symptoms, days 7ish through the end. Keep a close eye on anyone with breathing stuff though, my bf has two uncles in ICU with double pneumonia triggered by covid. (One of their siblings apparently went to visit them all, then found out two days later he was sick. Cue 12 people in that family sick, not counting bf and I from a completely different exposure). Neither of them was in good health previously, naturally, but it's incredible how hard this virus smacks people around.

What a great day for UK yesterday, damn we needed that.

Kobra Kai season 3 was good. As others have said, those who like it will love. Best part for me was the Okinawa trip, Liz Shue coming back, and I liked the flashbacks of Creese in the army.

5 and 2 years old

So far the worst has just been extreme fatigue. Get winded doing anything. Carried a kid upstairs and you would’ve thought I was finishing up a 10k. But all of it comes and goes. Been feeling pretty decent since mid morning today, actually. Wife lost taste and smell yesterday but it’s back today.

I’m not an NFL guy (because Bengals) but amuses me “the NBA is the new pasttime” narrative these guys all present ... which is completely murdered by all numbers, ratings and evidence.

If you listen to enough Simmons and the Ringer podcasts, they’ve made a case that it’s going to happen, but have since backed off it. They definitely have more marketable stars, but nobody cares about the games.

-Cobra Kai is good if you accept it for what it is. It ain’t Breaking Bad but it never intended to be. Just good ole American (Velveeta) cheese.

-Elisabeth Shue looked great for 57.

-Too long to post here but text of Johnny Lawrence’s Facebook message is pretty funny. Looks like something UCL would have written.

Are they still filming most of it in Atlanta? That’s my biggest gripe with the show. Karate Kid was a quintessential SoCal movie and they filmed a lot of the show in Georgia.

Tax breaks and incentives.

Likewise, it drove me nuts that the mountains in "Justified" were always the mountains of California. Nothing similar.
