Yeah, Josh missed on this one. Very "Jamal Murray sucks" of him. Several of their best movies deal with adult concepts. IMO, Joshie is just intimidated by a black male and female being the leads. Sad, really, but not surprising. The music and visuals were just fantastic. Not my favorite movie ever, but after what 2020 put out, I was happy with a good quality movie I can enjoy with my 5 year old.

It’s funny the “forgotten” Kentucky teams. ‘95 has to be one of the biggest. They **** down their leg in the E8 but that was a squad.
Yeah but we exchanged Rodrick Rhodes for Derek Anderson and Ron Mercer and were off to the races.

That 95 SEC championship game tho.

I probably enjoyed Up, Soul and Inside Out more than my kids. Just not enough fart and poop jokes...in related news, they can watch the terrible "new" Woody Woodpecker movie on a loop.

My boy is my smartest kid and he wanted and received a giant whoopee cushion for Christmas.

No one gets their feelings hurt over a rebuke or slight more than anth.

Listen, I’m glad you don’t feel it necessary to explain to inquisitive 1st graders what’s going on in a movie as it relates to the plot and general themes. Man/whitesplaining to her 1) elemental reason for being and also 2) untimely death was a tad difficult for Geese, in parallel with our Christian beliefs.

Happy G took it in stride.

One of you nerds have a link to the Texas Nebraska Incident? Google isn't proving helpful.

That "Day in the Life of A Longhorns fan" that got circulated several years ago? Feel like Chumps had it saved somewhere and reposted it a while back.

The music and visuals were just fantastic.

Just read today that it's Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails fame who does the actual score for the movie. Now THAT is something I never would have envisioned back in the day. The dude who made "Closer" is scoring Disney/Pixar films. 😆

John Batiste from Stephen Colbert's show did the piano blues songs. I thought he was great, too.

Jeff Boschee’s skinheadass talking smack ib the ‘99 Tournament, and Turner’s response- “let’s just play.”

I went to Rick Pitino’s basketball camp back in 94. My assigned counselor was Walter McCarty, but Epps and his assigned team of counselees were in our “pod” so-to-speak, meaning we got to spend a lot of time with him. He was really nice to me and seemed like a good all-around dude. Therefore I was a little disappointed the second to last day of camp when during a game against his team he told me my shot sucked and I was too slow to go around anybody.
