MS ST is hitting jump shots. Something that UK can't seem to do with any regularity

We actually looked slightly better to my eye than the usual dumpster fire stuff we've seen. I don't know why I'm saying it but I feel like we still win this game.

Anyone know the offense we run?

If you respond with anything like "weave", "hook", "horn", or "dribble drive", you're truly just as lost as I am and you have no clue either.
That’s the thing. The team is just as lost. We’ve run a couple sets off the flex and horns but never made it past the 2nd look of either before going helter skelter and jacking something up or turning it over. Ball is never reversed and no one gets to the middle for a possible inside/outside look. Ug-Lee

BJ can get shots, he just doesn’t realize where those shots need to come from. He gets by his man but then can’t handle what he runs into after that.

He can better if he wants to. Work on his shooting as his athleticism alone doesn’t cut it at this level. Does he have the “want to”? Who knows. Everything was too easy in HS

Hey @gharding07 , just wanted to make sure you saw this.

You said we would be down by 10 if Cal took Boston out. Looks to.me like we would be up by at least 4 if he was sitting.
Boston is the worst player on the team but takes the most shots. Makes sense why we’re as bad as we are

UK has played zone. Rebounding has been ****** out of it. Thank God for playing zone.
It’s been ****** because the weak side defender is still coming over to assist on blocking shots. The same way all Cal’s teams do regardless of zone or man defense.

I still hate our offense regardless. Feel like Cal has run this trash ever since Knox came along.
We ran somewhat of the dribble drive motion with the Fox team. Some of the reads and shifts we made with that team were classic dribble drive concepts. But I agree, after 2018 we have not ran the pure dribble drive at all. This offense is not what we played in our best years. The 2015 team played a TON of horns sets but we could get away with it because we had great big men and strong guard play. This team does not fit these sets we play at all. But Cal makes 10 million a year so it’s his call

Whatever else RR has to offer, he’s apparently tuned in to us.

Playing Allen

We’ll have him running a good out of bounds under the basket play before years end. 😳
Bc he knows were going to lose and losing his way will light the fire well before losing the fans way. Might as well fold to fans demands when the team is a flaming pile of dog ****

Man Sarr makes so many dam mistakes and Boston kills this team with horrid shooting. You take him out of this game and I feel like we would be up 5. He kills any momentum with terrible shot selection and shooting. His shot has no confidence and he seems like he doesn't care, it's weird.

Cal needs to sit Boston's ***. Brick after brick after brick. Boston is never going to be an effective weapon on offense. That is painfully obvious at this point. Yet he just keeps shooting and missing and never does the one thing he should be doing....passing to other people who might have a prayer of making a shot. It is criminal for Cal to allow this **** to continue. Is he in charge of this program or is Boston? No coach worth his salt would allow this to continue.
He can’t it will destroy Cal’s narrative. I’m guessing Boston’s posse will be on him to opt out if he sits at all therefore Cals reputation is toast. Cal has himself a full blown quagmire. If I’m Boston I Covid out tonight and I pray for very solid predraft workouts and maybe get my payday. Meanwhile Cal fiddles while Rome burns.
