We can't hold a lead and have to many scoring droughts. Turnovers and missed free throws again rear their ugly head. I'm not sure the turnover thing will get much better with so many freshman playing.

Cal needs to sit Boston's ***. Brick after brick after brick. Boston is never going to be an effective weapon on offense. That is painfully obvious at this point. Yet he just keeps shooting and missing and never does the one thing he should be doing....passing to other people who might have a prayer of making a shot. It is criminal for Cal to allow this **** to continue. Is he in charge of this program or is Boston? No coach worth his salt would allow this to continue.

I hope you are not expecting plays for the best shooter on the team. He should be taking twice the number of shots taken by Boston.
You’re right. We’ll just jeep setting with bigs so they can walk when they get the ball high and try to make a move.

I want hustlers in the game. Toppin, Ware, Askew, ......, ...... maybe Sarr, Jackson mix with Allen getting some more time to try and start making an impact.

We are playing a lot of zone, Allen is playing, and cal is wearing a sport coat. He has his finger on the pulse it seems.

Only good thing about this game is that we don’t have Clarke in there shooting bricks with Boston

Anyone know the offense we run?

If you respond with anything like "weave", "hook", "horn", or "dribble drive", you're truly just as lost as I am and you have no clue either.
Well, that’s what we do. We run circle motion and horn sets and pin downs. We do not run dribble drive. I am not lost at all. That’s what we do boyo

Team eFG% - 47

Team eFG% minus Boston - 56.5

We are actually shooting reasonably well except for Boston and his midrange bricks. I'd like to see Sarr in more pick and pop opportunities, stretching the shot out to the 3 point line.

I just can't believe how bad we are offensively. They have no identity, no flow, nobody is on the same page, they don't drive the ball and they appear to be playing AAU ball.
What is Cal doing in practice?
You just described what I’ve seen for several years. We just had better shooters. And a guy that could beat his man off the dribble for an occasional layup.

The things you mentioned can be an offensive set if done well. We barely go through the motions.
