Y’all can be food snobs all you want, but roast, potatoes and carrots is a good comfort food meal.
And Mississippi pot roast is essentially the same as the drip beef I make that most everyone loves.

Made pot roast Friday but the leftover vegetable beef soup the next day was the true winner
I can't believe there are people who don't like pot roast on here. What a rube take.

-bob evans sides are great for a busy family, cricket...as are kroger rotisserie chickens. I may even bust out a few party pizzas tonight.
-i used to turn my nose up at "crock pot recipes"...but, busy family life and a desire to avoid fast food/take out holds precedence.

The wife has a giant pot of red chili cooking for tonight. Is that GYERO approved or I am just some food simpleton rube?
Good fng grief.

Bob Evans frozen mashed potatoes are a game-changer. They taste nearly as good as the real thing in 1/100th the time. And they are 1,000 times better than those ******** instant mashed potatoes that some restaurants (and all schools) try to pass off as the real thing.
In short, don't be disrespecting Bob Evan's frozen mashed potatoes...or else.

Post roast is fine. That’s all I got.
And that’s really all anyone should say about it.

I think you have something running down your chin. You need to come up for air before you pass out.
-pot roast saves afternoon gyero...thanks mossip/strokin.
Bread pudding.
F'ing hot dog and a Keeneland Breeze you damn snobs
-the reuben is good...the carving station is always a safe option.
You guys cook more than any male group I’ve ever associated with. It’s not a bad thing, wish I knew how to cook tbh, would be a nice switch up on the weekends
Top 3 Worst Things to Do at Keeneland
1. ATM
2. Restroom
3. Eat
2 of these are completely avoidable.

I fix 90% of the meals that are consumed in the ole AW household. That way I get to pick the menu. One of my few regrats in this life is that my mom isn’t around to see how I’ve grown into a pretty good cook. She learned from her grandmother and mom, both old school cooks, and I’ve got her recipe book, which is filled with abbreviations that I have finally figured out. A bunch of pinches, dashes, stir til it looks right, etc.
I do now understand how she felt when she put out a meal, that everyone not only looked forward to, but also ate it all up. Quite satisfying TBH.

I think this is indicative of the reason I don’t really care about the opinion of most “foodies”.... “foodies” are generally overly dismissive of comfort food.
Breakfast foods, starches, most family style sides, etc... The foods that the average stiff probably savors the most are deemed too simplistic, yet probably bring as much enjoyment as any food.
In other words, pot roast is good.

Shouldn’t Day 1 have been in August when these stiffs arrived on campus?
Beat Louisville, you slobby sonovabitch.
Just a little tougher. Did Billy G come back?
@Strokin_Bandit I just saw that Pippen is your girls counterpart now. I use to eat lunch with him regularly because he had lunch duty and coached golf with him for a year despite knowing nothing about golf because he needed someone who wouldn’t get on his nerves.
How about old Hayseed Satterfield and his obtuse, tone deaf presser today? Whoo boy I can’t wait to watch this Floyd Street experiment go down in flames. Fans and PR lapdogs reporters have their axes sharpened and pitch forks raised and ready to run him out on the rails.
Appreciate little brother providing a much needed distraction from the hardwood

Satterfield is definitely a GYERO man because boy did he take a bad take and double down, triple down.
- This is the correct answer. If it’s bland/chewy/boring, etc then you simply did it wrong. But at the same time, we all know that it’s popularity is mainly due to the convenience.
- Had the “Be My Eyes” app for years and finally got to accept a call on it. What a humbling and rewarding experience.
- Hope everyone is staying healthy and safe, and that HOFCJVC doesn’t cause one of you to have a stroke this year.
Leaked Camp Cal schedule (keep in GYERO):
Weeks 1 & 2: Dribbling with one hand.
Weeks 3 & 4: Two hand chest passing.

Reminds me of the old Allen Hatcher BB Camps
