- The Masters, the NBA Draft, and a sneaky-good slate of CFB this weekend makes for one of the better November sports periods in a while.
- Not sure what's more bizarre at this point...football games with nobody in the stands, or seeing a bowl projections column listing a 3-4 Kentucky team as a potential Outback Bowl participant.
- So what has everyone decided to do about Thanksgiving gatherings? I know it's assumed that ANDY will crack down on them, but am I seriously gonna avoid my parents on what could be one of the last Thanksgivings they'll have at "home"? We've been doing #SociallyDistant gatherings with them for birthdays, etc....masks, precautions, etc. I'm not keen on suddenly saying "Sorry folks, Andy said the six of us can't have a holiday lunch together". But hey, whatever is good for the state, I guess.
It's already bad enough that their dog died this past Saturday. Little fighter lasted 18 years, but was an absolute headache for them the past year or two with her constant accidents, etc. I was worried sick that they would fall while trying to clean up one of her messes, so as sad as it sounds, it might actually be a relief that she died in peace and isn't struggling anymore. They're having a rough go of it, I really don't want to add "Thanksgiving is cancelled" to the list.
