Just wanted to give Ron a quick update on some news he has likely missed - statues of founding fathers/war heroes/Presidents are being defaced or torn down. Meanwhile, statues of communists that killed millions remain untouched. If that doesn't tell you where we are as a country........
I get where you’re coming from but are there communist statues in this country?

-Day off finally after a long Father’s Day weekend. Woke up around 8:30. Moved to the couch, smoked a nice lil spliff and watched John Oliver and two episodes of Weeds.

-Gym at noon, only 6 people there. [smoke]

-Publix for a few things, just fixed the left hand brake on the scoot, Spotify sunshine reggae Monday while doing both.

-Heading to the pool now for a little sun and solo reading, Educated. Very good so far.

-Taking a lady out for some seafood supper tonight.

  • I know they are kids and us grown ups are not supposed to make fun and all. But [roll]Jarren Williams, karma is a mofo.

I know it would be hard, and our boy Touchdown Terry made it work (as did Cam), but I'd like to see some statistics on a player's success rate when he transfers to a JUCO. It's one thing when you're a QB and recruited over I guess, but quite another when you're just a dickhead.

No COVID post:

*Father's day is rough. Pops and I weren't close but weren't estranged, either. It was mostly we were both kind of stubborn about calling each other. Really wish I would have done it differently.

Some advice to those that still have someone you don't talk to for whatever reason, get over it. Once they're gone, they're gone and it's terribly sad.

*Happier news, there was a neighborhood concert Saturday night and it was awesome. Colton Gise Band played all the greats from the 90's and mixed in some Childers. Cold Miller Lite with Tracey Lawrence's "Alibis" in the background made for a good evening.

*Inventory at work the last few days. It is, by far, the worst week of the year.

*Grest having golf on again yesterday. Disappointed it wasn't the US Open, but it'll do.

*Smoked a prime rib roast on the Traeger. Turned out perfect. It's almost too easy.

*MIL coming out tonight to look at some houses in the neighborhood. I think she knows it's time to move.

Having cool in-laws is a hell of a lucky draw. My wife’s parents are awesome, but a buddy of mine would rather murder his mother in law than spend 10 minutes with her (justifiably). I can’t imagine having to deal with that kind of ******** and the needless family stress that would cause.

Picked up the lass on the scoot (her preference over the Xterra) and went to Mangia Mangia(they make their own pasta), split two apps, two entrees and a bottle of wine.

Left there and scooted over to a front porch spot for another couple glasses of wine.

Scoot scoot her home and back home myself.
That’s a solid day.

Woke enough over here to not lose sleep over it. I don’t really think anyone here is racist minus cole and let’s just get this moving in the correct direction.

Not sure if you’re talking to me or white Wayne but I dropped her off, slammed a couple beers along with a bowl and then showered. Listened to a podcast in the shower and got my pjs on.

BUT BUT Reese Witherspoon and Ellen said there were going to be huge lines and voters rights are being suppressed.

Completed every season binge of Grand Designs on Netflix. Yes, nerdy architecture show-but some really good stories.

Cautionary tale to build your own dream home.

I think the theme of that show is “The Architect Triumphant.” Kevin loves to **** on owners that don’t hire architects to think through details, and man is it great. My FIL used to make me bootleg DVD’s of it before it was streaming.

“The World’s Most Extraordinary Homes” is also really good despite the title. But the “architect” host is an academic with the chops of a furniture designer, so he gets batted around by the real architects at times.

(Now that I’m an FAA-certified Airman, it’s fun to relive my salad days as an architect via Netflix.)

I like how we decided the way to keep from spreading the virus was funneling people from all over the city to one location. Good call, dumbasses. I may see 8 people when I go to vote in an entire elementary school gym. Although I do need to mention the death and devastation Wisconsin death with after their in person voting blunder. Have they recovered yet? Hopefully not.

Woke up this morning. Opened my eyes and looked around the room. Pulled off the covers and walked into the bathroom. My feet were warm since it’s Summer time, so all was well. I then brushed my teeth for 2 minutes, spit and rinsed my mouth out with water from my faucet.

Right after I finished I realized I needed to piss, so I walked over to the toilet, did my business and then flushed the toilet.

After washing my hands I went into the kitchen and poured a cup of coffee. Three splendas later I’m sitting in my recliner with a hot cup of coffee and a dip. After perusing Cat Paw I decided it was time to go take a shower.

After showering I put on some clothes, belt and shoes. Then I took several steps and found myself in my garage, where I opened the door and found my car. Since it was time to leave I opened the car door, got inside, and then started it up. I looked at different Spotify lists, made a decision and then started listening to music. Once everything was ready to go I backed out of my driveway and began my day by driving on a two lane road. 10 minutes later I reached my office.
