*Some* of them are truly on the front line and doing some heroic ish that they are being woefully underpaid to do, while lacking abundant essential PPE.
*Most* of them are either laid off, checking temperatures at hospital entrances, or roaming empty hallways.

One of those groups is much more prone to posting on social media.

Well it depends upon the role. I’d say the many who are risking and/or contracting an unfamiliar virus to provide care, or comforting and caring for scared patients unable to have guests are pretty brave and worthy of the accolades.

I mean, nurses have been ranked the #1 most respected profession for like 20 years straight. They’re a pretty humble group who do pretty great things for people at their most vulnerable.

Very happy for Bowden! I have been feeling a little anxious/sad for him since late second round. The Raiders scored big time.

Although it means pretty much nothing I was also very happy the Raiders picked LB before they then with the next pick chose the WR from USCjr. [smoke]

It is the little things.

The Raiders are 88-152 over the last 15 years and have finished above .500 only once in that time period. No playoff wins since 2002. They have the worst ownership in the league, and their overpaid coach is 15 years past his prime. To top it off, you’re now taking 52 rich 20-30 something alpha males and putting them in the entertainment capital of the world. Is that magically gonna make them better?

So go ahead with your woke takes or phony Raider-fandom cause you got a Raider starter jacket back in 92. I wouldn’t want any former UK guy going to that organization. Same for the Bengals for that matter.

I wasn't debating Oakland (err LV) past 15 years. Arguably the worst in any sport. As you can see, I was lamenting my fandom leading up to that post. I was pointing out the sanctimony you post with and juxtaposing it with your archaic worldviews. But, like everything else, you missed it.
