Big miss if we don’t get him. I don’t believe a 6’10’’ or taller player at center is a requirement to be a high level team, but we missed on a chance on a “sure thing.”
Given their recruiting rankings, Jackson and Ware both project to be below average UK freshman. Having a proven contributor from a Big Ten school would have given us so much more margin for error. Now we need both to be net contributors instead of just one.

I have a hard time believing Cal will go into next season without an experienced big man in the post. He will find a transfer or grad transfer before next season.
Who cares at this point. What cal has created is a fans nightmare. Winning some reg season games and elite 8 ceiling just isn’t worth the agony of the 7 months of off season anymore.
