Fair enough explanation you switch on a dime thosorry. yes i switched my vote the other night. thanks for tagging me. i must have been high initially. no, it was that i overcharged hannibal for master and conner. so sorry rr. you got one sf and no pf btw stevenson/riddick played the 5, couldn’t shoot or handle the ball. so the lanes for your only penetrator (fox) are clogged. no one would come out on riddick or stevenson, yet you need one of them defensively. fox is a bit overtaxed here having to create for everyone while finding his. i’d say your best matchup is lamb vs azubuike. i think college azubuike would have handled college booker pretty well, unless he’s got the ball the whole time. but that would be fox. i just think he drafted a better more cohesive team. you got 3 nba stars in your starting 5, it’s true. but i like all of his remaining 7 pick a lot better and the cohesion.
johnson on the front line against mccarty? are you serious?G Fox
G Lamb
G Booker
F Johnson
C Cousins
How do you defend that small ball lineup?
How I won? Son of Saul put me overI'm just advancing both and having a 3 way vote.... no sense fighting over who's going to advance in these hypothetical match ups. @drcats2013 is cool with it so I'm fine with this decision I'll set it up
by dime you mean several days.Fair enough explanation you switch on a dime tho
You literally asked people to “come vote for my squad” lol.Where did I ask for votes? I tried to get more votes to break a tie
I never asked for votes. Just went on paddock to get more votes. Then someone voted against me bc I was "pandering"I do think asking for votes is a b**** move @Rupp'sRunt and shouldn’t be happening. Feels like an unwritten rule that shouldn’t be broken.
You give up some rebounds, but you make Mercer's team guard you as well. McCarty probably wouldn't like chasing Keldon off screens for 30 minutes and Walter's offensive game was too finesse to make Keldon worry about defending any kind of true low-post game.johnson on the front line against mccarty? are you serious?
nba stars only had so much room in college. that’s pretty much the difference between how we see it. like boogie at the 4. i mean come on. the cohesion thing is part of how i vote. there’s not a single player who plays like or is even in the same position to back up that starting 5 except johnson for cousins. You give up some rebounds, but you make Mercer's team guard you as well. If Bowie and McCarty abused them on the glass, then you bring in Riddick or Dakari in a your 5 and Boogie slides to the 4 where he can hit threes.
Meanwhile you have to account for Keldon and Fox driving the lanes every chance they get while also checking Booker and Lamb on the perimeter.
I mean, I'm rolling with three max NBA guys and the best shooter in UK history, plus one of our program's greatest competitors in Johnson.

no he didn’t. there was a new poll and i had a new decision.you got @hotelblue to flip
you got @hotelblue to flip
but like i said he and keldon are not only not alike in any way, they are different positions. you’d put riddick ahead of johnson after cousins? i see that as one position especially for a small lineup. what you’re saying is he has a great late game small ball lineup potential and he does. but if that’s the starting 5 playing most of the game it’s a detriment.Andre Riddick was a good player and a really good backup.
I wouldn’t sweat it or waste much more time defending myself to him. He admitted he’s drunk and he’s clearly delusional.I didn’t ask him to. My last post was supposed to have 4 screenshots of you asking for votes but they won’t post. But idc, honestly. I’m just defending my position that WilliamJ’s vote should count. Just feels like a double standard on that.

let me add that it’s not just rebounding with kenldon vs walter. you made a great point about mccarty being reduced to baby hooks in the end. now he’d get them off way easily but it’s a great point about overrating the defensive concerns because of the height differential. mccarty was not a true post player. a poor man’s sam perkins. but now let’s just imagine mccarty checking keldon. walter would have basically not allowed him to complete a pass or much of anything else inside an extended arc. we both know that.Andre Riddick was a good player and a really good backup.

I think RR's lack of depth at the 4 spot hurts his cause in the next round, but I think it would be enough to get him by in this round when one factors in the ability of Fox and Cousins with Lamb and Booker out on the wing.
Plus, who can hit threes consistently on Mercer's team outside of Walter?
Both teams have massive weaknesses.
well yeah. but that’s not his starting 5 it was just a small lineup capability. He wasn’t a banger by any means but he’d take advantage of the height differential & post up KJ all game long.

it’s a fair point. azubuike would have to be it if i chose. master definitely had the range and was a marksman.
